We were made to pay for an upgrade that was neither booked nor requested. Extra charges were added for the unnecessary upgrade, and the only other options given were even more expensive. Furthermore, the “king suite” we received did not have a king sized bed. Phone in the room was broken. Bathroom door did not close properly leaving no privacy. Housekeeping never came except to ask us when we were checking out (twice). We weren’t guided to the courtyard, pool, bar or other ammenities. Concierge barely had information on the hotel events, like music schedules. There is no free breakfast on site, not even a complimentary coffee. Several other guests commented on the damaged facilities and lack of ammenities. The location is convenient ONLY if you intend to stay in the Quarter. If you have any desire to venture out, it’s very difficult for vehicles to access. The most helpful employee was the bellhop, and others were careless or rude. The only beautiful space was the lobby inside.

Overall we had a really good experience. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom also was a very good size. The only issues we had was the shower came with a 2 different fixtures and one of them didn’t work because it leaked very badly—more of an annoyance than an issue. Same with the other thing: the bathroom fan was connected to a motion sensor and would only stay on for 30 seconds. Besides those 2 things we were overall very pleased with the stay. It’s very conveniently located to many attractions and food options.
