Next to the Rideau shopping complex and the Byward market. In and out parking. 15 min from the Parliament Bldg. One block south of Rideau.
Hotel itself although being maintained is an older property and can be classed a 3 star.

Excellent Stay

Outdated but great location!!
Posted Mar. 7, 2024 on HotelsLocation is great!!! We had a 2 bedroom room on the 9th floor. It was incredibly outdated and run down. We were told the noice we’d hear would be from the city work. Turns out they were doing renovations on the 10th. When we told the front desk that, they paid for our parking.

Super clean and bright rooms. Lots of space and well appointed room. The area outside the whole is a little sketchy... Lots of homeless people roaming around. A little noisy too from city noises. Otherwise fantastic hotel for quality price!

As with many downtown cities, we have some socio-economic challenges however we are still a very safe city. Because we are located in the heart of downtown, there will be noise emanating from the street and I do apologize. In future, please request a higher floor with a courtyard view (south) to minimize any type of outside noise intrusion. It would be a pleasure to welcome you again on your next stay in downtown Ottawa!
