The home is located in a vibrant neighborhood, only a stone's throw from ALL the famous 6th street bars, some of Austin’s best restaurants, coffee shops, and only 3 blocks from the flagship Whole Foods. Popular weekend activities, such as pub crawls and scooter tours pick up from just blocks away. Get the best of both worlds! If you enjoy walking, you will love strolling through Clarksville’s hilly streets. Clarksville Park and West Austin Park are two small parks in the neighborhood, each with wading pools that are open in the summer. If you’re looking for a larger park, the famous Zilker Park is only a few blocks south, and contains hike and bike trails, sand volleyball courts, large open fields and Barton Springs Pool. Also, just a few blocks northeast of Clarksville is the Shoal Creek Hike and Bike Trail, which is very popular with cyclists.
Clarksville offers a variety of dining options. Grab your morning coffee or brunch at Swedish Hill. Enjoy happy hour on the patio at Bar Peached (just across the street), savor Austin’s best soup dumplings at Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum Restaurant, grab oysters at Clark's, head to Jeffrey's for a night of fine dining, or for a more casual experience, head to the stylish Josephine House cafe, or the beloved Italian bistro Cipolina. There’s something for everyone in this one-of-a-kind Austin neighborhood!
Also located just down the street is the original Outdoor Voices, as well as Austin-staple Waterloo Records, Lululemon, Anthropologie, Amy’s Ice Cream and many other shops! Dance the night away at nearby Donn’s Depots, and be sure to stop by El Arroyo to see the latest quirky saying on their famous outdoor sign!
Easy access to Mopac (Loop 1), Lamar and downtown Austin. Safety is rarely a concern in Clarksville. It’s routinely lauded as one of the safest neighborhoods in Austin.
Getting Around:
Biking and scooting are popular ways to get around Clarksville and the nearby areas. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, making walking an easy option for getting around the area as well. To get to other parts of the city, driving is most convenient. If you prefer to ride the bus, Capital Metro Route 9 passes through Clarksville. A quick uber or cab ride from downtown to Clarksville is inexpensive.
Other Things to Note:
Parking is limited, there is room for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Please keep in mind parking times on the street as the City of Austin will ticket vehicles and we are not responsible.

I encourage my guests to call or message me if they need anything to improve their stay. I live nearby and can drop by the property if needed.
