Beautiful and spacious Chalet in the centre of Briancon in the High Alps - Serre Chevalier 1200. Possible to book catered or self-catered.

Set in a quiet and private location with stunning views of the local mountains and ski pistes (including the night skiing at Briancon), the Chalet is just a 5/10 minute walk to the ski lifts, restaurants, bars and the historic walled UNESCO citadel.

The Chalet has recently been beautifully renovated to a high standard. It has a spacious living room and dining area with log burning stove, large and well-equipped modern kitchen, large balcony terrace with amazing mountain views, outside jacuzzi and private garden with BBQ, dining and lounging area. Parking for two cars on the drive plus free on-street parking. It is possible to charge electric cars for 80€ per week per car.

5 ensuite bedrooms (one with a bath) all have king size zip and link beds that can be split into 2 singles, so the chalet can be arranged to suit all group types up to 10 people, including children.

The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including english and french TV, netflix, wifi, dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer, outside bike/kayak wash area, a large entrance way / storage area and secure ski/ boot room.

The property has a garage dedicated for guest use - perfect for storing bikes and kayaks. It is well equipped with bike repair tools and a bike mechanic (me).

*Please note the owners live on site in a seperate apartment below the chalet.

Beautiful chalet in a great location, run by very helpful owners
We booked as a group of eight for a week's skiing/snowboarding in Serre Chevalier. None of us had visited the area previously but we certainly weren't disappointed. The chalet was perfect, having all the mod cons and comforts whilst still retaining a traditional chalet charm. Of course the hot tub was a welcome bonus after being out on the slopes. Steve and Eleanor were very helpful with anything we needed and we look forward to hopefully going back for some mountain biking in the summer.

Super vriendelijke gastvrouw, ook het verblijf voldeed aan de verwachting! Genoeg ruimte om met 5 volwassenen en baby te verblijven. Algemeen was alles in orde, een pluspunt dat ieders zijn eigen badkamer had. Ook de jacuzzi en zicht op de bergen maakte het af! Op korte afstand van de skilift. Jammer dat er niet heel veel te zien is in Briancon. Ondanks deze grote stad hebben we vooral gezelligheid en sfeer, gevonden in Chantemerle. Het verblijf en skigebied is top! Enkel de locatie zelf vonden we iets minder.

Great place and amazing help from the owners
We are so happy with our stay! The chalet is beautiful and clean and relatively central. The pictures online reflect reality! It’s a a bit of a walk to the lift but Steve and Eleanor where helpful with driving us down with our gear and finding a storage place to leave our skis. We are very greatful for all the help and advice!
