This vacation home is located right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on beautiful Lake Buchanan. It is located in a quiet and gated property and provides a relaxing environment, perfect for a couple’s trip, a family reunion, a business get together or a friends get away trip.
This is a family friendly waterfront property that offers 2 other lake houses, a “3 Bed 2 Bath House (fits 10 people)” and a “3 Bed 2 Bath House (fits 8 people)”, that can be rented individually or together as a duo or trio to better serve our guests’ group size. The property also offers plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats.
This lake house is a spacious1 Bed 1 Full Bath home. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a day bed with a trundle in the living room. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. It offers a cozy living room with a couch, a chair with an ottoman, Dish Cable TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside guests can enjoy a shaded spacious porch with a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
The house capacity is 4 guests (adults and children) comfortably sleeping in beds. If more accommodations are needed, guests can rent one of the other lake houses on the property or pay an extra guest fee of $25 per guest per night, to bring extra kids only, no extra adult guests.
The property also offers plenty of outdoor space with shade trees, outdoor seating, hammock, picnic table, fire pit, washer toss game, an outdoor utility wagon and a 2-seater canoe with paddles and life vests. A 317 Feet lighted & covered concrete fishing pier, sandy beach, and boat tour to the waterfalls.
The lake is swimming friendly and gets deeper gradually so it is perfect for small kids.

The listing stated this was a "vacation home" and "lake house" and reviews stated it was a "cute cabin" and "small house". Pictures clearly show the "porch" was screened in. In truth, it is a converted cinderblock garage and the porch is half of an unscreened carport with the host's car parked in the other half. The only thing steps from the door was the host's house and porch and commercial 3 bay garage. All of the outdoor furniture, swings, and hammock were too coated in bird droppings to be usable. The dock and chairs there were the same. We knew the lake was low and were not surprised to see a dry dock, but we had hoped to at least sit and enjoy morning coffee and a view of the lake. The bed was clean and comfortable and the AC could keep up at night, but struggled to stay below 80 during the day. The kitchen sink had a substantial leak. - This is the first time we have ever stayed at a VRBO rental that we felt duped by the listing. Very disappointed overall.

The small house was very clean. It had just about everything you would need for a weekend getaway. We were looking forward to fishing off the peir, but the peir stood on dry ground. The owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions we had.

I had booked a property somewhere else and last minute they had to cancel because of ac issues, but I am so grateful I found this property last minute! Very clean, had everything we needed, and steps away from the water! The host were so kind and very helpful! I felt comfortable and was the perfect peaceful getaway I needed. We wanted a quiet relaxing getaway. And that’s exactly what we got. We felt right at home and appreciated the overall feel of the place. Looking forward to coming back, and bringing more family. Cute Cottage
Super cute cottage! Perfect for what we needed...only missing WiFi! The screened-in porch is perfect for sitting outside in the evening and having dinner. The owner is right on property and my husband and I both enjoyed talking to him. I communicated with his wife via text and phone and she was very pleasant as well. Definitely somewhere we will come back to!
