Great little place for the perfect getaway!
Everything was as described and advertised. We really enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable. 2 couples on a Charleston getaway - we will be back! Just a suggestion - towel hooks/rods in bathroom and places to charge devices (more/larger bedside tables would be nice. Fan was a plus and used. We are used to ceiling fans all the time! Thanks again!

Good location, charming place
Our first visit to Charleston was in this great property. It was a little loud, but we were staying in the city so I’d attribute it to normal city noises. Short walk to a few cute coffee shops. Short drive to King St. and all of the great spots to visit. Thanks for a first great visit to Charleston.

Clean place with a good setup for 2 couples or 2 friends to stay. definitely has some noise from other units or surrounding area. The unit was also quite cold as it was cold outside and turning up the heat didn’t seem to help.

Everything was nice and the location was very good. Having a parking spot was great. Short Uber to King Street for some good restaurants. Had no issues driving into downtown. Went to Sullivan’s Island one evening which was a 15-20 min drive.

We had a great stay. We felt very pampered the place was so clean with the towels being arranged like we were at a hotel but much nicer. Only anxiety I had was trying to park and pull out of the car spot that was assigned to us.

A short stay in Charleston. The house was clean, check in was easy. We had a few issues but the concierge was responsive. The issues didn't get fixed during our stay but everything was explained well. We enjoyed the side porch during our stay it was a great added space to relax. The wifi was great and the TV in the living room and bedroom was great

Nice place, good location
Good place to stay if you don't mind older place with some quirks. We like to cook breakfast and was supplied with only one dirty, very old skillet. Of course we realize most people don't cook when they visit a great food city like Charleston! Mostly, it was good, nice to have off street parking. Easy check in.

Loved our stay in Charleston
Great place to stay in Charleston. Clean, well appointed, and plenty of space for our family. Great balcony for relaxing as well. Great location in town and good communication with the property manager. As others have mentioned, the house is very close to the medical center so helicopters flying over head was common. That said, I think it's loud everywhere in Charleston.

Clean but lacked charm and had noise issues
The unit is kept very clean and had all the necessary items. However, we did not have the best stay. The coffee pot was cracked and broke open while coffee was brewing. Management brought up a new coffee pot to set up ourselves. The toilet had issues and ran for hours after each flush unless we opened the tank and reassembled the inner workings. The internet went out 3-4 times per hour and management had to call the renters in the unit next door to have them reboot the router. This made it very hard to work and caused me to miss an important virtual meeting. The noise from the street and the upstairs unit kept us up for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there. The upstairs noise was caused by no rugs on the wood floors so when those guest walked around it sounded like herding buffalo were moving above us.

Cute apartment, lovely porch
Our family visits Charleston several times per year (mix of pleasure/vacation as well as for business). This was a cute apartment close to good restaurants. It was clean and we really enjoyed the porch and the lovely porch swing. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars was that the king bed may need a new frame. It was a mattress on a platform frame. The mattress itself was fine but the platform creaked when we turned during the night. Not horrible but a little bit disruptive. The queen bed in the other room was extremely comfortable. We have stayed at other properties managed by Stay Duvet and appreciate their responsiveness.

Nice but...
It has nice offstreet parking and in a good location. Everything was clean with plentiful hot water. Having some oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and coffee which was appreciated. the linens and towels were good. You have to deal with the helicopters and ambulance noise arriving at the nearby hospital. Street traffic in the back units is fine. There is a dustpan but no broom. We texted StayDuvet for a broom , they said they would provide it, but it never arrived. No place to hang up coats when you enter. It needs a pole or hooks. I suspect the closet in the kitchen which hides the washer/dryer originally served as the coat closet. There was neither a dish strainer nor dish towels. The coffee filters were not the correct size nor shape. They were cone shaped for a flat basket which led to them falling over with grounds clogging the basket. That's why 4 star and not 5

Great place to stay
We had a great time staying in this suite. It was very cozy and the property manager was very helpful in getting things fixed that were damaged prior to our stay. We enjoyed being close to King Street and the market. At no fault to the property managers, but future guests need to be aware of the proximity to the hospital and police stations. This building is older like most of the city of Charleston and makes it easier to hear outside noise, especially the medi-copter and sirens. Other than that it was a great place and we are fortunate to have been able to stay there.

Cozy Property Near The Citadel and the Medical School of South Carolina
Overall, we enjoyed our our stay. We loved the architecture and appreciated that this was a pet friendly property. It is a good location close to the medical school and The Citadel in an up and coming area with lots of new and good restaurants and shops. It is also an easy walk to King Street and The College of Charleston. We had a few issues with the internet connectivity which impacted not only our computer connections but also our ability to stream TV programs. The property manager, Stay Duvet, was very responsive and addressed the issue. They were also responsive when the fire alarm went off as a result of inadequate stove ventilation, which also required the Fire Department to come and reset the alarm. The property owner may consider upgrading the stove exhaust to prevent future occurrences. Lastly, some smaller creature comforts like an another chair and larger area rug in the living area, extra blankets for the beds, and improved water pressure would be great.

Excellent location and nice property
This is a very nice location. Optimal for uber and lyft usage. Within .5 mile of King and Meeting streets. Definitely walkable. No noticeable crime and it felt very safe. The unit is actually a bit hard to locate, its door is stuck between the two buildings near the electrical meters. Overall it was very clean... But we did pull the sofa bed out to use and it was dirty, so we put it back and our daughter just slept on the couch. Hopefully the agency just overlooked it and will fix for other visitors.
