Cabins were dated but clean . Restaurant was very good
Quiet & beautiful location. Individual log cabin with modern electric, walk-in shower, & kitchenette. Convenient on site cafe, a bait shop & a gift store. All the food was great, but the Chicken fried steak & the biscuits w/sausage gravy were fantastic. Will here stay again!
This cabin should only be used by fishermen who are only looking for a hot shower and clean bed. I will say there was plenty of hot water and lots of pressure. The cabins were clean but not upkept. The interior had sagging floors, the bathroom window would not stay closed and has not been remodeled/updated maybe ever. No wifi, no tv, no hairdryer. The smell was terrible when we first got there so I left the door open until we went to bed. Two of the four nights it smelled like raw sewage. Just not a place where people on vacation should stop but fishermen would probably be ok.
Gwinn's is great fun and the chowder in the roadhouse is amazing! If you are looking for luxury, Gwinn's isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for functional, clean accommodation with rustic charm, you'll love it.

Cold Winter Stay
This may be a nice place to stay in the summer but not in the winter. The furnace never heated the room up. When I arrived I walked up ice covered stairs and walked into a 60 degree room. When I reached out they did send someone over however, I was told the furnace is working it's just old and will take time. The space heated in the room was too small to do much. When I got up at 5 the room was 67 however, the bathroom was freezing so I had to move the space heater in there. The water was warm at best.
The listing on Hotel.com says there is a restaurant and bar/lounge that is only during the summer and not open this time of year. There are also no lights outside so walking down the stairs and in the parking area is a bit of a challenge in the dark.
Ultimately, I really liked Gwin’s. It was cozy and charmingly rustic. Easy to find and close to everything we wanted to do in Cooper Landing. But there was no housekeeping. Didn’t care about an unmade bed, but no fresh towels, or replacing other amenities.

It was a cute little cottage, very clean and comfortable, we would stay there again!!
Bed was too soft and the floor was completely slanted. Bath door wouldn’t close all the way, this is a fishing/hunting type cabin property and looks it. Not for families.
It was a perfect, middle of Coopers Landing place to stay for fishing. Unfortunately, the night before we were to fish at 5:00 am our charter canceled on us. The fishing was a highlight and we were unable to book another guide. Gwins had nothing to do with that but it made our stay a bit disappointing for us. Gwins Roadhouse and cafe was great
