No stars! Do not stay here. Moldy, buggy, full of trash, and unsafe. Did not stay the night and was told we would get a refund, but they did not follow through. The hotel is more for long term residents, not tourists. Submitted complaint with hotel.com and will be contacting the BBB.
I made a reservation on Sunday. When I arrived to check in Thursday evening, the desk clerk said there were no rooms and she was trying to find a comparable room somewhere else. I said not to bother and left.

Older motel, but the beds were great! Needs a little work, but ok for a quick trip.
I have stayed at the Circle S on numerous occasions. It's always a nice clean, comfortable room. I will definitely return and stay again when I'm in Gering or Scottsbluff.
There is nothing good about this property. The room wasn't ready at 4pm when I tried to check in. The attendant said she would ask the guy that would be next to me to be quite. I asked if he was a monthly rented to which she said yes. Then she asked how many beds I needed to which I replied at least one. She then said if I could wait 30 minutes a quieter room would be ready. I said I would go to dinner then come back. At 7:30pm when I returned I couldn't find her so I looked in the room I was to be assigned only to find the maintenance man installing a wall airconditioner and nailing up a board. The board was because the new air conditioner was smaller than the other and the hole needed to be covered so you couldn't see outside. I went back to the office and the attendant finally came. I told her this situation was not acceptable. She said she couldn't cancel my reservation but would call Expedia in the morning so I could be refunded my money. I had to go to another hotel and didnt stay at the Circle S Lodge. I called Expedia that night to try to get my money back but they couldn't issue a refund without approval from Circle S lodge. Expedia tried calling Circle S without success. I called Circle S and Expedia agian the next day without any resolution. Circle S will not answer the phone. I guess a refund will not be issued. Expedia should not allie Circle S to use their service. I will keep trying to get refund.

Not a place to stay if your needing a late check i
Well we never got to stay. I made a reservation Saturday evening and then we tried checking in and no one ever came to the lobby to help us so we had to go to another hotel. So now to fight for a refund.
Good clean room. Nothing fancy, but the staff was very friendly and happy to help with anything. It was exactly what I expected. Thanks!

My reservation was lost so at 10:00 at night I went to find a different motel. The place appeared to be under major cleaning/construction in rooms that had open curtains. The parking lot was filled with holes. I was honestly thankful they'd lost the reservation because it gave me bad vibes and didn't appear to be a good place to stay. The lady on the phone offered to see if their "other hotel" had a room, but I seriously questioned it being a decent place to stay based on what I was seeing at this one.
Hot water was not working and while I asked if that could me fixed, the maintenance man asked why he should. He was unhelpful and rude. Front desk lady was understanding and offered to comp one of my nights. Will see if that happens.
Hostess had to get hot water fixed before I could use. Went sight seeing at chimney rock and Scott’s bluff and room was ready when I returned. Good view to west from motel. Convenience store next door.
This hotel is older. The parking lot has some potholes. A great effort has been put into making the room nice, and clean. The manager checked us in, brought us extra towels. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also larger than most I've seen in a hotel, it was also clean.
Smoke detectors missing, no garbage can, the shower had used soap and shampoo on the shelf, which lead me to question if it was cleaned. The alarm had food particles on it. The tv remote didn’t work. The carpet below the a/c unit was saturated with water. Overall I would think it should be condemned until proper renovations are done. I couldn’t sleep thinking the bed probably had dirty sheets, so I left at 2:30 am ☹️
The office was locked when we arrived at 5 pm. After waiting about 10 minutes, the desk clerk arrived in a car. She offered to decrease our room rate due to no large screen TV. After seeing the room, we asked for a refund and she returned our money. She was very nice but hotel condition was awful.
