Great stay at Bushbaby
Bushbaby River Lodge was a great, quiet, peaceful play to stay in Hoedspruit. Everyone was very friendly and the setting is great. Be sure to have a rental car! The lodge is a very long walk from anything.

Fantastic stay can’t wait to go back!!
Amazing stay at Busy Baby, beautiful place to visit with lovely spa and pool area. Really clean, helpful staff (booking spa treatments for us, game rides etc). Really incredible to see zebras and giraffe walk straight through the lodge every day.

Relaxing!
The place is new and thus very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night. I had some problems with the directions but once I finally arrived, I really enjoyed it!

Beautiful Hotel Near Kruger
It was a bit different from what we expected, but definitely in a good way. The owners are both Dutch and they were super helpful and kind from the beginning. There are only 6 rooms in total and we stayed in the Elephant Room. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean. We especially appreciate the fact that it had both a fan and and AC, as it could get quite warm in South Africa.

Awesome Lodge close to Big 5 Game Parks and Kruger
I can't recommend this lodge highly enough. They exceed "5" on all levels. New and eager hosts sincerely look after guests and take pride in their property. They have excellent staff whom like to engage with guests. The bungalows and dining area / bar area were well loved spaces where they served up the best breakfast! Quiet and serene, relaxing and luxurious in the wildlife reserve where we saw many animals. Reserve was safe for biking and jogging and very secure premises. Nice pool as well. which was relaxing to sit around in the winter as it was a little chilly for actual swimming! I would suggest this Lodge as a stepping stone when traveling from Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park. You can comfortably rent a car @ Airport and arrive @ Bush Baby River Resort in afternoon. Have an awesome dinner @ The Hat In the Creek (in town) and return for a luxurious sleep with the National Park only 45 min away drive to take on the next day. Or visit Timbavati Private Game Reserve or take a public safari trip @ Manyeleti Reserve which the owners can arrange.

Bed and breakfast in a small nature reserve which means animals are always close by. Well designed rooms (we had the Leopard room) with a deck that looks out on the river bed. Large room, good bed with musquito net and large bathroom area (also outside shower). Hosts are very friendly and love their b&b which can be seen in all details that have been thought through. Note that this is b&b so you have to drive (5 min) to hoedspruit to have dinner.

Das B&B liegt in einem Estate, hiervon erreicht man super den Krüger Park und die Panoramaroute... Man wird sehr herzlich aufgenommen und die Unterkunft ist perfekt... beim Frühstück hatten wir Warzenschweine um uns herum :-D auch der angenotene Grillabend war sehr gut.. ein rundum perfekter aufebthakt :-)

Os donos Ivette e Edgar são maravilhosos, simpáticos, solícitos, fazem tudo pela gente! Deram mil dicas sobre tudo, sobre todos os safaris, onde ir no Kruger, onde jantar, onde passear. Eles fizeram um churrasco Sul-africano para nós que foi perfeito! Interagimos muito com eles e com os hóspedes! O hotel é pequeno, mas absurdamente exclusivo, reservado, lindo, bem distribuído, com javalis e Kudus no quintal! Eu voltaria mil vezes para lá! E ficando lá, fizemos safaris na reserva privada do Manyeleti! Perfeito! Amei mais que tudo e me despedi como se estivesse deixando minha família para trás, de tão apegados que ficamos! Recomendo um milhão de vezes!

Bushbaby é uma reserva onde lá dentro você poderá avistar varios animais sem nenhum custo onde vc mesmo fazendo seu próprio Safari diurno ou noturno. O café da manhã maravilhoso. O quarto muito novo , limpo , bem decorado de bom gosto , chuveiro maravilhoso para seu banho . Com tomadas USB pelo quarto para facilitar sua vida . Equipe sempre solicita Porém Yvete uma que não pertence a esse mundo de tão doce e sempre fazendo de tudo para te ver feliz e te ajudando conhecer os animais da reserva e outras opcoes . Avisamos a ela que faríamos um Safari no kruguer no dia seguinte é carinhosamente ela preparou um cooler com com sanduíche e cafe facilitando nossa vida um carinho muito especial muito alem do que serviço Parabéns bashbaby

Gemütliches Hotel mitten im Park
Wir waren mehr als zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, das Bett bequem (mit Moskitonetz) und alles sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage kühlt das Zimmer ratz fatz runter und die Außendusche ist genau das richtige nach einem Tag bei 40°C im Krüger Park. Bei der Größe der Unterkunft ist es auch einleuchtend, das es kein Abendessen gibt, dies stellt aber mit Hoedspruit um die Ecke und den dortigen Restaurants kein Problem dar. Je nach Buchungskanal erhält man eine Nachricht von der Unterkunft mit Weganweisungen (es ist leider nicht überall möglich), sollte man diese nicht erhalten haben, unbedingt die Unterkunft kontaktieren, das spart einiges an Zeit und Nerven. Kennt man den Weg einmal, ist es einfach zu finden, ohne die Anleitung ist es allerdings mehr als wahrscheinlich, sich odentlich zu verfransen. Anders als im Krüger Park hat das Tor zum Einlass in dieses Reservat (zumindest der separate Eingang zur Lodge) keine Schließzeiten. Man erhält einen Code (beim Check In) mit dem man das Tor jederzeit öffnen kann und so ist es auch egal, wenn man erst um 22Uhr (oder später) vom Abendessen zurück kommt.

Estávamos em lua de mel, a recepção dos proprietários foi simplesmente incrível (suco e toalhas umidecidas ) mesmo tarde da noite, o GPS não iniciou o local certo, mas a proprietária foi nos buscar com o seu carro. O quarto e simplesmente sensacional !!!se um dia voltar ao kruger, ctz q ficaria lá novamente (detalhe : a pousada é novinha em folha ) menos de 1 ano . Incrível !!!!!!!!!!

Un séjour tout simplement merveilleux. Nous avons été super bien accueilli. Nous avons passé une excellente visite du Kruger Park, une superbe randonnée à vélo dans la réserve privée d'Hoedspruit en compagnie d'Edgar, un des gérants. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. La chambre, le lieu, la piscine tout est bien soigné.
