Never more than a 15 minute walk from the best of the best in the city, you will find it the perfect place from which to explore all of the culture and scenery that Merida has to offer. It also makes the perfect home-base for a variety of day trips to places like the beach towns of Progreso and Sisal, the Chicxulub crater famed for being the landing scar of the meteor that ended the reign of the dinosaurs, the nearby Maya ruins of Dzibilchaltún and Uxmal, the many cenotes and wildlife preserves, and of course, an excursion to one of the Ancient Wonders of the World – the majestic Chichen Itza. The house has 3 king-sized beds in 3 rooms and 2 cribs available. Based on the bed availability, this house is best suited to a maximum of 6 adults and/or 2 toddlers/babies. You will have the entire property to yourself. There is a storage room off of the front that is locked and sometimes used to store luggage when guests arrive early or need to leave later than checkout time. There are storage cupboards over the pantry shelves are also locked. Our property managers, PM23, will be at your service any time. You can also message us or them 24/7 using the AirBnb message centre. Please note, due to changes with locksmith laws in Yucatan, the property management may charge a fee for lost key access after-hours. Please ask about any charges or fees for after-hours access to the property upon arrival as these are not host charges and we do not control or collect them. In the heart of Mérida's Centro Histórico and less than 15 minutes walk from the area's most desirable and popular offerings, from the Paseo de Montejo to the Plaza Grande and the Catedral de Mérida, from Santa Ana Parque and Santa Lucia Parque, to the restaurant and night club districts. All are an easy and safe walk from Casa La Perlita. Street parking is free, safe, readily available, and unlimited. There is a separate charge of $4.5MXN per KWH for electricity payable upon checkout. Property manager to take before and after stay photo of both meters (the house has two) and charges will be collected on-site or via the Airbnb app (your choice). Due to changes in laws in Yucatan, the property manager may have to charge a service fee for lost or missing key access to the property outside of business hours. We do not permit parties, events, large gatherings, or pets. Service animals are welcome but can not be left unattended on the property at any time. All guests staying overnight at the property, including children, must be declared in the booking. We have amenities for up to two infants or toddlers available upon request.
