Great hotel ! Clean and updated with a nice lobby area. Attentive staff and great restaraunt bar attached to it where you can lounge and enjoy a cocktail or beverage of your choice. We will be coming back to stay at the Pell again for sure. Great value for the cost and location.

convenient. Good service attitude. Very friendly.
The service attitude at the counter is very good. The staff is also very friendly. The place is very convenient. The room was also very clean. It's just that the room I stayed in didn't have hot water for taking a shower. Not even warm water. The soundproofing equipment is not very good and I can hear the sound of the guests upstairs turning on the TV. The best thing is the service attitude is really good. I will stay here again if I go to Newport again.

The staff here is amazing. Helpful. Friendly. Efficient. Property is close enough to downtown if you are willing to Uber or not a person that is bar hopping. Restaurant was good for dinner both nights. Bartender was terrific and food was also excellent.

The Pell is very clean and very convenient being only 10 minutes by car from downtown Newport. The breakfeast on the property is way overpriced and not very good based on that price. The room is quite nice but the pillows are miserable. I would have liked some kind of guide in the room to give us an idea of what eateries are around and what the chanels are on the TV. Using single ply toilet paper is cheap! All that said it is a nice place to stay.

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Newport and are so happy that we chose The Pell. When looking at hotels within in Newport at the end of October I was greeted with rates from $500 to $900 per night. The rooms appeared to be all small with "period" furniture, aka on the verge of being a possible questionable antique. Parking was an additional $30 to $40 charge. The Pell was recently renovated about 1.5 years ago. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. There was an actual shower with decent pressure. A Nespresso machine and small fridge. The Pell was only an 8 to 10 minute drive into the heart of Newport. We easily found street parking at $2.00 an hour
