The price is for the whole property. Charming house (true sea view,) in the historic center of Monopoli on the sixteenth century walls, a stone's throw from the sea and the enchanting sandy and rocky coves. The house has a living room, lounge, 2 bedrooms (4/5 beds), 2 bathrooms, equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge,) panoramic terraces overlooking the sea (150 sqm), solarium, WiFi connection (fiber) free and unlimited, air conditioning, heating. Tastefully furnished, parquet floor. This property is very well located, adjacent to the old town, 5 mins walk to Numeri Primi and Saleka supermarkets and Farmacia Station just 10 mins walk The owners are very nice people and quick to reply to any questions Rocky even drove me to a Farmacia which he found open on a Sunday when I needed bandages for a deep glass cut Wi fi and Aircon worked well and secure door locks Monopoli is a great base from where to visit Alberoberro, Ostuni, Lecce and Polignano a Mare Well recommened

Great location in Monopoli
The location of the apartment, right on the harbor and within a short walk of the Castle, is perfect for a short week in Puglia. Great food and gelato are readily available. The owner gave great suggestions for nearby restaurants.

Alex, the host (and his son Rocco) were always available for questions and information. They were welcoming, friendly and very helpful! We were even provided with a treat basket upon arrival, and Alex left us pastries on the stairs one morning for breakfast (and again, our last morning). The property was absolutely beautiful, and had everything you could possibly need. We are seasoned travelers and would highly recommend this property!

A 5+ Star Stay
When we first stumbled upon this apartment on VRBO, it seemed almost too good to be true - a rooftop terrace and balcony over looking the Adriatic? But everything was as perfect as it looked online. We've rented a lot of different apartments though out the years, but Alex is the one of the most thoughtful and hands on host we've ever experienced. He and his lovely wife Ada provided us with all the information we needed as they showed us around the apartment. It's roomy and comfortable and although we didn’t use the kitchen, it contains everything you need to cook an Italian dinner or a quick breakfast. The beds, real mattresses(!), and memory foam pillows(!), were extremely comfortable. Both full bathroom were clean and well lit and equipt with roomy showers. The location was incredible, easy walking to the old town and city center. There are restaurants and bars around the apartment, but at night we closed the windows and turned on the AC and never heard a sound. Alex was always a text away if we had any questions or issues (we had none) but checked once to see if we needed anything. They were both very considerate, leaving us a basket filled with jam, cookies and other treats and one morning Alex had dropped off two broche at our door! Thank you Alex and Ada for such a wonderful time! We will be back, Joyce and George

Outstanding stay in fantastic apartment
Beautiful, spacious, well equipped apartment with brilliant outdoor space and in a fantastic location at the edge of the old town. There was absolutely nothing to fault. The host, Alex, was an absolute star - kind and helpful and went out of his way for us. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Oh, and Monopoli was great as well.

A Gorgeous Home in Beautiful Monopoli
We adore this apartment. Alex and Ada greeted us at 9pm with open arms, so much love and the most thoughtful welcome basket of Italian goodies. The apartment is perfect—pristine, well organized, a properly stocked kitchen and dining room, plenty of towels and bedding—very comfortable beds, the location is top notch and the outdoor dining/terraces of the apartment are absolutely perfect. You don’t want to leave the private rooftop views but you must because Monopoli and it’s surrounding day trip towns (Matera, Locorotundo, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare are dreamy). The apartment is right within old town, within minutes of every attraction, restaurant, plaza, shop, cafe, playground, beachfront walkways, grocery, pharmacy, etc. This apartment is a must stay as you’ll not only receive amazing communication from its owners but also such a warm welcome and stay. We stayed for 8 days and believe it’s perfect for couples, families and friends.

Wonderful property!
Rocky and Alex are fabulous hosts. Very responsive and when we couldn't find the house Rocky came looking for us! The property is outstanding with a great location and great view. Monopoli Old Town is just around the corner with wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars. Puglia is a beautiful area of Italy and many small towns are a short distance away. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Wonderful apartment in fantastic location
Our stay in this lovely, bright, cheery apartment was near flawless. The apartment itself was roomy, bright, extremely well-equipped, clean, and everything worked well. The kitchen was roomy with a large refrigerator and opened to a beautiful deck overlooking the harbor. The living and dining area was large, bright and functional. The two bedrooms were large with tons of closet space. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. The property is located on the edge of the old town, and in easy walking distance to busy piazzas and restaurants. The only caution I would offer is that there are a fair amount of steps to reach the entrance of the apartment. That being said, both my wife and I are in our 70s and I have bad knees, but the steps would not be something that would keep us from staying here again should we return to Monopoli.

Great location and view
Imagine yourself sitting on a terrace and watching the boats in the port, the sea, and the people walk by. Doing this while drinking wine and aperol spritzes makes it even nicer. I spent one entire day sitting on the terrace by the kitchen inhaling the view so I could take the sights and sounds home with me to the US. And, the old town with all its restaurants and charm, is right behind you. The apartment is one floor up from the street. It's a comfortable and nicely decorated home. The owners are the best I have ever experienced in all my years with VRBO. They went above and beyond welcoming us, helping us arrange our departure covid tests, and stocking the fridge with milk and breakfast items, and, of course, coffee! The kitchen, dining room, living room, and 2 bedrooms/1 bath, are located on the main floor. A smaller bedroom is halfway down the stair. A second bathroom is up a circular staircase that leads to the fabulous rooftop terrace. The 2 bedrooms are roomy with armoires. They are at the back of the apartment so you do hear some of the happiness of the diners below.. Windows and curtains help dim those sounds,. Nice big shower, big washer machine. You dry clothes on the terrace. After 6 days there, we were so in love with Monopoli and this apartment we didn't want to leave. It's a gift to yourself to stay here. I know it will be your best 'soggiorno!'

Best place in all of Pulgia!
Rocky and Alex are just fabulous hosts. Communication was excellent. Their apartment has been lovingly renovated. They helped with reservations and arranging a car to the Bari train station. It is heaven on earth to have our coffee on the patio overlooking the harbor. We shall return next year.

Magic Monopoli Property

Live the Italian life
We loved our week in Monopoli with our 2 teenage boys. The apartment is fantastic - immaculate and with amazing views. We loved the terraces and enjoyed eating breakfast every morning overlooking the harbour. Monopoli is beautiful with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance including the small beach in town. We did hire a car for one day and visited some historic Puglian towns. We would love to return to Monopoli one day. Thank you to Alex for picking us up from the train station and explaining everything.

Prime location in Monopoli
The spacious apartment is right above the harbor in the historic area of Monopoli. Views from the large terrace off the kitchen or from the rooftop of the many activities in the harbor. Perfect location for the many restaurants and bars in the old city, walk to grocery stores and banks. It is only 8 short blocks from the train station. No car is needed. Alex and his son Rocco are caring hosts and offered much information. Communication is easy. A perfect spot to enjoy the many attractions of Monopoli and nearby Towns.

What a gem! The owners. The details in the flat. The action of the port you can see from the terrace. The sunny kitchen. Large bathroom. High ceilings that make it feel more spacious. All the small touches. And did I mention the owners? We were welcomed like friends. They even met us for a drink so we could ask questions about living in Monopoli, we are considering a second home in Puglia. We own a VRBO and understand how special this place is. And Rocco is a Portland Trailblazers fan! So fun!

Marvellous Monopoli
From the minute we arrived in Monopoli we knew it was going to be a fabulous stay! Alex, Ada and Rocky were on the spot to meet us and Rocky even parked our car!! They were so warm and welcoming it felt like meeting up with old friends. They spent a lot of time giving us advice and directions on restaurants (which lived up to their recommendation!),beaches, markets and other towns to visit. Alex kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. Their apartment is just gorgeous and spotless (it is clearly loved) with everything you could possibly need…including a huge bowl of fresh fruit, water, milk, coffee and snacks. The three terraces are amazing. The views are all terrific and different from each ther. They are also very well equipped with sun beds, table, umbrella and even an outside shower. In fact it was quite hard to leave the apartment each day!! The location is perfect…walking distance to everything including a couple of lovely little beaches. It was very warm when we arrived so the aircon was a great bonus. We absolutely loved Monopoli with its vibrant harbour, fascinating Centro Storico, terrific restaurants, bars and shops. And there are so many interesting nearby towns to visit. We are back in Australia now but still miss the lovely apartment and the amazing time we had there. Fabulous apartment excellent location
We have just enjoyed a wonderful week in Monopoli. The apartment was as excellent as other reviews say. Alex and Ada were there to welcome us and provided fresh fruit, milk etc to start our holiday. The apartment was very well equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated. The central location was great for the old town, plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We loved sitting on the balcony in an evening watching the activity in the harbour. We used the apartment as a base for trips to Alberobello, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Lecce, Matera and Putignano and found them all within reasonable driving distance. Each place had its own interest and charm. The local food and wine specialities were interesting to try and we loved the pasticioco as a treat. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to all our friends. 4 adults from North Wales September 2018

Stunning home right on the harbour
We had high expectations about this property as the website photographs and reviews were brilliant; we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome from owners Alex and Ada and their son Rocky and a huge basket of fresh fruit, coffee, Puglian savoury biscuits etc. They spent time showing us round their beautiful home (which has been given a recent make-over) and were always on call for any questions. The house itself had wonderful views from the terraces (up a beautiful spiral stair case) of the harbour on one side and the old town on the other. We spent hours on the terrace just outside the kitchen watching the boats coming in and eating al fresco. All the rooms were tastefully decorated with welcomed air con in each room so sleeping was easy! The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was very clean. We would go back in a flash to this beautiful home - the location, the owners and the place itself. Not a bad word to say!

A wonderful house
Two friends and I stayed at the beginning of May for 10 days and could not have found a more perfect house. It's in an ideal location right by Monopoli harbour and very close to the old town. The thing that struck us was how well equipped it it - the owners have thought of everything from a hairdryer in each bathroom to powder for the washing machine plus an excellent wi-fi. The third bedroom is admittedly rather small but I'm 5'7" and managed! The views from the terraces are absolutely stunning and there's always plenty of activity to keep one amused. There are shops and small supermarkets about 5 minutes' walk away and we also found some very good hairdressers. Alex and his son are extremely pleasant and checked with us halfway through our holiday to make sure that everything was alright. An excellent property.

Wonderful apartment in Monopoli!
We enjoyed our stay in this magnificent apartment. The location was perfect and the owners were extremely helpful. They provided us with fresh fruit, coffee, jams, etc. for our first morning. Paper goods and cleaning products were plentiful. The space was more than enough for two people (we only used half of it), the bed was comfortable, the shower was large and refreshing, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen was well stocked. We took day trips to Alberobello, Ostuni, the Grotte Castellano, and Polignano A Mare. Free parking was available in front of the apartment. It was so nice to come home after a full day of exploring to the wonderful apartment and to sit out on the terrace to watch the fishing boats come in with their daily catch. We enjoyed our dinners in the nearby Piazza Garibaldi and found the people in Monopoli to be helpful and cheerful. We wish we could stay longer in this beautiful space.

Schöner Urlaub in lebendiger Atmosphäre
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Lage und Ausstattung dieser Wohnung. Zentral gelegen, nur ein paar Schritte bis zur bezauberten Altstadt von Monopoli. Perfekter Standort um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden (Matera ca. 70 km ) Unsere Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und alles genau erklärt. Sogar eine kleine Erstversorgung stand für uns bereit. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und wohl gefühlt.

We can recommend the apartment very much, since is is located in the old city centre and only 10 minutes walk from a beautiful city beach. We enjoyed the hospitality of Alex and Tocky very much.
