We’ve stayed at the property multiple times and we have thoroughly enjoyed it each visit. This visit was fantastic and it was the first time we’ve stayed in an efficiency room and we enjoyed that very much. we will definitely be back in the future!

This place was a time warp out of the 60’s style wise. Things were clean, but I was told staff does not enter rooms to change linens and towels during a guest stay as “they are a small, rinky dink operation” it was a quiet stay. The showers do not have tubs and nothing told hold onto for balance while showering. The worst part of this stay was the beds. They were on pallet type bases, hard as a rock. Pillows way too soft. If you’re looking for a comfy bed for a few days stay, this is not it. My boyfriend and I both slept terribly each night of our stay. We couldn’t wait to get home in our own bed! While this place is an aesthetically cute and family friendly place, convenient to many things, we would not stay here again.

The Room, Pool, and Lobby Lounge were clean and had great space to move around (Coffee Machine was a great addition as well). Hotel is a 2 min walk from the beach which was very nice too. Maggie, the Property Manager was very helpful and kind. I would absolutely recommend staying here, especially planning a trip on a budget. (Rooms come with fridge and an electric stove top as well). 5/5

Good budget motel
Nice budget motel on the quieter end of Myrtle Beach. Beach is a short walk away. Rooms appear to be recently renovated. Only defect is that the water pressure was very low.

We felt safe and comfortable. I liked the keypad door, not having to keep up with a key card. The room was clean. I liked the little sitting area outside the door. It was close enough to walk to the beach. It was quiet. There were a few little things that needed fixed, but nothing major. I do wish the fridge was a little bit bigger. The pool chairs need a good scrubbing.

Clean accommodations at reasonable cost
The room was clean and well-maintained. It had a balcony overlooking the pool. The service was friendly, although the desk is often unstaffed, and you have to call a phone number to get someone up front. Could use a few more electrical outlets in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable but, oddly, had what amounted to "running boards" around them. It looks like they bought king-sized frames and put queen mattresses on them.

A cozy gem
We simply enjoyed ourselves! Maggie and her staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Holiday Shores is cozy and is a gem among the giant towers.
