Villa Eleni: Gaios Waterfront House

Villa Eleni is a holiday home, on the ground floor of a two-story old mansion (the owners temporarily live upstairs), centrally located in Gaios - Paxos, in a quiet neighborhood, with lovely courtyards and three air-conditioned bedrooms.
Eleni is ideal if you wish to remain close to daily village life. A car is considered not necessary. The traditional feel of the accommodation is perceived by the modern bedrooms, occupying a family or party of six. A relaxing and stress-free holiday away from it all, is promised at Villa Eleni.
Layout
The front metal gate opens onto a small terrace with sitting facilities and to the entrance of the apartment, which leads to an open space with a living room, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. (Living area can be supported by a/c units on request and extra charge of 10 Euro per day, payable to the owner). Aside from this space, is located a family shower - bathroom, and next to it the three bedrooms (a double, a twin, and a master bedroom), as well as a second modern shower bathroom.
The Terraces and the Gardens
On the left end of the living room, a balcony door opens onto a secluded covered terrace, which houses a large dining table, ideal for outdoor dining, and a few steps down, guests can find a lovely patio with sun-loungers, table, and chairs surrounded by colorful flowers.
The Location
Due to the unique location of Villa Eleni, vehicle access is limited, and should you wish to rent a car to explore the island, parking spaces can be found within the central parking area of the village, about 250 meters from the property.
Bonus Tip
A small staircase next to the terrace leads to a secluded self-contained studio, with a private courtyard and a comfortable living room, which houses a double bed with an ensuite shower bathroom. (This part of the house is on request/extra charge and it can accommodate two extra occupants).

Wonderful house in Paxos
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Paxos very much. The property is very nice and clean and beautifully decorated and conveniently situated only a couple of minutes walk from the town square and all the shops and the boats to Antipaxos. The town of Gaios has everything you need for a wonderful vacation and we would definitely return. Visitors with luggage should definitely reserve a taxi before arriving at the Ferry Port. The management company of the property said they couldn’t help us reserve a taxi and as a consequence we struggled unsuccessfully with kids and cases to find the property by foot which is difficult to locate. The owner of the property lives upstairs but the management company is in Corfu. As a result check-in was very challenging. Later we were given a complimentary bowl of fruit as an apology for the confusion which was a sweet gesture. But better information about arrival and communication would have been preferable. There were a couple of small things that could be improved…some washing machine detergent , more than two rolls of toilet paper for a week visit and information on where to put trash (only a tiny trash can in the kitchen) … but these are small things… overall a beautiful property in a wonderful location and definitely recommended!!
