Set in Petra in the center of Majorca, this charming country house with private pool and terrace is perfect for 2-4 guests.
The house Sa Cova is in the midst of nature in the countryside, a 20 minutes’ drive from the beaches Son Serra de Marina or Can Picafort in the North. Every Wednesday, you can visit the most traditional market of Majorca, which is in Sineu. The finca is set at the foot of the Puig de Bonany Hill, which is 310 meters high and a nice viewpoint. A 5 minutes’ drive takes you to the village of Petra, where you will find a small shop and a few bars. Try a tasty “Pa amb Oli” the bars of the main square, before you keep on exploring our beautiful island. Supermarkets, restaurants and more services can be found in Manacor.
The 7 x 4.5 meters sized natural pool with a depth ranging from 1.3 to 2.3 meters is absolutely natural as no chlorine, salt or other chemicals are needed for its cleaning, as maintainment works through oxygen. The pool is accessible through a ladder. The spacious terrace has lots of nice corners to relax. Take one of the sun loungers or have a barbecue with your loved ones. The two-storey house presents a rustic and cozy style. The bright sitting-dining room is fitted with a sofa, Astra-TV (German channels) and a fireplace. If you’re a chef, you will enjoy cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, including a gas cooker, oven, kitchen utensils, microwave and much more. There’s a double bedroom and a bath with bathtub and hair dryer on the ground floor. A staircase leads to the first floor, which is composed of a bedroom with double bed. The house is equipped with central heating for the winter, a washing machine, cot and high chair. Children will enjoy the toys the owners left for them.

The natural swimming pool (pond), surrounded by a small forest, is only available from May 15 to October 31. The owners take very good care of the pond, however, leaves can fall from the surrounding trees and there is a net to remove them.
There's a tourist tax on the Balearic Islands, the so called Ecotasa. This fee is mandatory for all guests, except people younger than 16 years. The amount is 2.2 EUR per day and guest during the high season and 0.55 EUR per day and guest during the low season. It reduces by half from the 9th night. The Ecotasa (tourist tax) will be charged to your Visa or MasterCard before arrival through a secure payment link. This payment is mandatory.
Important: as required by law, we need copies of the passports of every guest older than 16 years. We require this documents by email.
