We had family visiting from Europe and we wanted to take them out to the peninsula. The house was big enough for all of us and very comfortable.

DEER!!!!
A great place and a perfect location as we were extended family going to the peninsula for a large birthday party and decided to extend it out a little. A huge bonus was the number of deer all around. I took the puppy on multiple walks a day down the road and around every corner were more deer. So many in fact that by the time our stay was over the puppy no longer cared that they were there. :) The house is spread out enough that individual groups can have their own space and the common areas are large enough that we didn't get under-foot of each other. There are only two things to be aware of: - Dog Friendly: We have a puppy that could not be left alone, so the dog-friendly listing was essential. Somehow I didn't realize until we got there that dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Our puppy is used to sleeping with us and it was difficult to enforce that rule. - The loft in the garage is a separate listing, and while this was not an issue, it did mean an unknown dog on premises with unexpected meet-ups when being taken out. Again, not an issue, just something to be aware of. all and all it was a great place and the owners were easy to communicate with. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful setting, very comfortable and well stocked hime
We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had most of the amenities one would expect from a vacation home, plus some extras like an ice maker and jacuzzi tub. The layout was great for our crew of 5 kids. We enjoyed the wildlife and close proximity to town and the park. We would have liked to have known about the construction. In addition, the Carpenter did not leave the unfinished work in the safest way possible. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub which was disappointing. The king bed is completely worn out and very uncomfortable. At the rear of the property there is a very steep drop and no barrier that would be a fatal fall. With small kids, that made me nervous.

Great place location-wise. Super quiet and well stocked. Overall an amazing stay. Only issues were no curtain in upstairs bathroom which looked directly at deck next door - which has clear view into bathroom / shower. Also no curtain in bedroom. Loft next door was rented and it was fine but sometimes an issue with their floodlight on.

This property had everything you needed including a large space for your family. Room to ride bikes and scooters in safe area for kids. Kitchen loaded with everything you needed with comfortable beds and lots of space to move around and visit. Host left Christmas tree up and was available for conversation and helpful. Clean, large country living in Upscale development. It was perfect for our family of 8.

Comfortable and spacious
It was a great house to use as a base for day trips and when we were back at the house, there was plenty of space for the 9 of us! Comfy beds, nice kitchen, big couches for family games! Too bad Hurricane Ridge Road was closed but we made it to Hoh Rainforest, Second Beach, Rialto Beach and more than one trip to Lake Crescent! Simply beautiful area! Easy access to Port Ángeles if you want dinner out. The toddler loved the deer that visited the yard often!

Our group had a wonderful visit! The home is extremely well stocked, and we could tell that the owners spent a lot of time thinking about how they can make the guest experience as positive and easy as possible. The kids especially loved the arcade, the Wii, and the hot tub. Minor issues were resolved quickly. Highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful! 5 stars!
The gorgeous open layout inside the home is as good as it looks in the pictures. So much space to spread out and lounge together. I've never seen a more fully stocked kitchen - truly homey in every sense of the word. Huge hot tub. Amazing TV room with huge TV and great sound system. My kids (5 & 3) had a BLAST here. You do not need to bring a single extra thing for your children... kitchen is stocked w kid plates, bowls and cups. Toy room will keep them entertained. Bunk room is perfect. You can tell the owners care about (and use!) this place. Do yourself a favor and stay here - it's a restful spot to come back to after a day of exploring, and excellent for staying in if you want to just hang out and connect w family.

This property is WONDERFUL! Even tiny details were so thoughtfully cared for, like thorough instructions about how to work everything. The kitchen is beautifully stocked, and we all loved the mealtime bell for feeding the deer. Absolutely phenomenal, and many guests wrote in the guestbook that they'll be back. Port Angeles Hideaway
We really enjoyed this property, it was very spacious - ample living area and TV area that was very comfortable for 5 adults. Many blankets/coverlets to curl up with on the couch. The pantry was VERY well stocked and BONUS - the popcorn supplies were GREAT! We loved ringing the bell for the resident deer (the one with the smallish "orange colored" horns was a little bully - hopefully he grows out of it) and also watching the stellar jays, spotted towhees and dark eyed juncos taking advantage of the many bird feeders. The property is a short drive from everything on the north side of the peninsula (from Port Townsend to Lake Crescent area). Not to miss is: Hurricane Ridge (even in foggy/snowy weather we enjoyed the challenge), Salmon Cascades (on the way to Sol Duc Hot Springs), Marymere Falls (and hikes in that area), hiking along the Elwa river, Murdock Beach (very unique rocks found there - cannonball, "tortoise rocks", fossilized rocks, agates etc). Safeway grocery was a few minute drive from the house as was the visitor center for the Olympic park. The neighborhood was very nice with large homes and big open yards. We would stay there again.

The house was very clean and well stocked. From little things like coffee, games, bbq's ect.... The rooms and beds were comfortable, an amazing front porch to sit and enjoy the country living. Great parking for multiple vehicles. Ring a dinner bell and deer show up in your yard. That was definitely a crowd pleaser. I've stayed in a lot of rentals and this one tops them all!!! Great host's, thanks for a super fun experience.

Black Hawk Loop House Review
We throughly enjoyed our stay here in the Olympic Peninsula. We really appreciate all the thought put into this house. Most of my relatives live in the city so this was the perfect getaway. We absolutely adored seeing the wildlife right in front of the dining room window. Feeding the deer at dawn and dusk is the highlight of our trip. We did many activities such as hiking, sight seeing, and cooking. This is the first big trip for my family since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. So this was a very memorable trip that we will cherish for many years to come. The La Rosa, Navarette, Collier, Aglubat, and Fackler Family
