Rockaway Family Tides - Oregon Beach Vacations
Welcome to Rockaway Family Tides, located in Rockaway! This lovely, two story home is just a ten minute walk from the beach! Dog friendly with room for up to nine guests, this three bedroom, two bathroom home is perfect for a family reunion on the beach, or just a quiet getaway with your friends. Grab your bags, and head inside this home away from home.
Upon entering Rockaway Family Tides, you'll find yourself in a roomy living room with a couch that doubles as a sleeper sofa, an oversized chair, and two additional chairs for relaxing in while enjoying the flat screen TV. You'll have TV, a DVD and Blu-Ray player, along with DVD movies and Wi-Fi provided by the owners. There are also some books in the home if you'd like to read one during your trip. Grab some popcorn and relax with a late night movie after a day of playing on the beach, or just catch up with your family over a cup of coffee.
The dining room table with room for up to six guests sits behind the living room with plenty of natural light streaming in from the windows. Off to the left, you'll find the kitchen, with an additional table and seating for two. The kitchen has everything you might need to whip up some quick and easy meals during your stay. You'll have access to a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven/stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and plenty of silverware and dish-ware for all of your guests. The laundry room is just behind the kitchen, complete with a washer and dryer and outdoor furniture to use during your stay. Feel free to pack light and wash clothes as needed during your trip to Rockaway.
Head outside, and you'll find a back deck with a large yard to run around in. Please note that the yard is not fenced, so any pets you bring will need to be leashed.
Head back inside and you'll find the first bathroom and bedroom. The Jack and Jill style bathroom connects this first-floor bedroom with the kitchen. You'll find a walk-in shower and a queen bed on this floor. Head to the second story, and you'll find the other two bedrooms with another Jack and Jill bathroom containing a tub/shower combo. The first bedroom contains another queen bed, while the final room is perfect for any children in your party with a futon and full/twin bunk bed setup. There is also a TV and DVD player/DVD movies in this room for the kids to enjoy during their stay.
While staying in Rockaway Beach, you'll have plenty to see and do in the area. Head to the beach to catch some waves, or visit one of the many lakes in the area for a quick fishing trip. There are also several parks to take the children to, all within walking distance. There are many different shops and restaurants to explore along Highway 101, so grab a quick bite or search for that perfect souvenir to help you remember your visit.
