Stunning Lake views famous for trout fishing

Located just 27 minutes away from Rotorua and its exciting attractions like the Redwood Forest, Gondola Luge, bike tracks, and jet boating, this place is a paradise for nature lovers. You'll find a hot natural local pool just 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes by boat, making it a boatie's dream.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby fishing spots, but a fishing license is required, which can be conveniently purchased at the local petrol station. If you're up for some kayaking, there's one available for use.

The surrounding natural beauty allows you to wake up to the delightful sounds of birds. If you need to grab a bite or refuel, the nearest cafe, takeaways, and petrol station are just a short 10-minute drive away.

Please note that the 1970's caravan is a 3-berth, suitable for up to 3 people, and guests are required to use the house's bathroom, toilet, shower, and laundry facilities, located close by. It has been thoughtfully renovated with comfortable furniture, including a queen and single bed.

Linen is provided, and smoking is not allowed inside the caravan. Sorry no dogs.

Wonderful to stay in the garden caravan with my young son. Pam and Nev are wonderful hosts, the Caravan is spotless and perfect place to stay. Brilliant location right on the lakeside, playground, bush walks, golf and Rotorua just 20 minutes or so away. This was our second visit and we had such a good time. Thank you for having us.

Breathe in … and relax
What a lovely three nights my two kids and I had in this quaint caravan set right on the lake. Pam and Nev have created a peaceful and quaint environment which almost feels like camping but with all the home comforts. Awesome hosts and a fantastic location to explore the lake, bush and local spots which they will share with you. Thanks so much and will see you again soon!

Beautiful and cosy
Pam and Nev were amazing hosts, we arrived to some lovely home baking and a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was beautiful waking up and having our morning cuppas at the lake while my son played on the playground. Would highly recommend booking here if you are after some quite time away from the city with beautiful views.

Wonderful easter stay
I stayed here with my 7 year old boy. The hospitality was just brilliant from Pam and her husband. The caravan had everything described and we had a wonderful, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was superb, plenty of things to do - exploring, biking, golf, lake activities, play grounds etc. Pam made delicious baking for us too - really a lovely touch and very friendly and welcoming. Would love to come back and stay again please. 10 out of 10.

Pam And Nev were very welcoming. It sadly rained the whole of our visit. But we enjoyed our cosy stay in the caravan. We had a everything we needed. Pam and Nev were very knowledgeable about the area and very generous with their time and watermelon. We needed the rest, so the piece and quiet was perfect.

Excellent stay for 2 nights. Actually its a first time experience for all of us in Campervan. Campervan is equipped with all the basic stuff required to spend your whole day. Lovely host Pam and her husband...They are really nice and talkative. They also suggested few places nearby. Location is mesmerizing. Will go again...

New favourite holiday spot
Pam and Neville took care of all our needs, we were able to use the kayaks and they took us on a walk to see the glow worms in the bush. The caravan was neat and tidy with an induction cooker and fridge etc. It felt cozy and comfortable and a great view of the lake. I’m sure we will be back!

The property is right beside the lake, with a beautiful view! perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, walking, and biking, via a forest track that links you to the next lake. The hosts are so nice, offering homemade baking upon your arrival and letting you borrow their kayaks.

Perfect Little Get Away
Everything about this place was amazing! Pam and her husband were wonderful hosts, the view was incredible and literally a stone throw away from where we slept, and you will not find a better price for the time of the year and location. This is what will bring us back to Pam for years to come. Her generous and kind spirit of sharing this little piece of paradise with others at an affordable rate is not something you often find. But she has gained lifelong returning gusts because of it. We will surely be back and letting all our mates know to take care of this beautiful gem along with their beautiful home and spectacular views. Other key factors that made our stay worth while- glow work grotto that was accessible by foot, kayaks on property for use, great conversation with Pam and her husband, parking availability and short distance from Rotorua city center with many delicious options for food along the way. We will certainly return.

Fabulous stay
Wonderful location, even if a bit blowy. Caravan was fully equipped and clean. Pam and Neville were excellent hosts and made sure our daughter had toys to play with and let us sit in their conservatory as the caravan has no sofa. Definitely will be back.

You guys are the bomb!
Teenagers had this to say.... They were so cool. The caravan had such a good vibe and was totally cool and retro. The grandma slayed. She was a queen! The granddad was so awesome. They both ate it up (translation:they were the best) The kayaking was slay. The night bush walk was scary and fun and we wished we had seen the glow worms but we ere a bit useless and probably too noisey lolz. Can we stay here again please mum? well the teens loved it and so did I! Thanks :)

Lakeside Iconic Kiwiana happy experience
This comfortable, affordable caravan offers a devine stay and is parked up in a characterful garden alongside the beautiful lake. It offers simple amenities for cooking and a wonderful panoramic close up view. You almost feel you are in the lake. The Hosts Pam and Neville are just fantastic, and living their best lives, helping others, whilst having fun scooting and kyaking and inspiring all. The shower is the best and I will never forget my experience and have recorded it suitably as a photographer. Thank you for being so much fun, so spirited and so generous.
