We felt instantly at home when we walked in. It is an older property but well looked after. Very good and the meals were great !

Sufficient for our one night stay.
Hotel is quirky and quite tired in places. You can see effort has been put in, but really to a professional standard. Breakfast was a buffet English Breakfast which was good. Rooms were really quite hot and no Aircon and fan in bathroom did not work. Tea and coffee is supplied in the room. There are two large dogs roaming constantly, they are extremely docile but had we known before hand, we would not have booked for this reason. We were only told on arrival.

Room 2 disappointment
I'm sure there are varying quality of rooms at Gray Manor but Rm 2 is unfortunately in dire need of restoration. The black rubber matting in the bathroom floor is something I've never come across before and the plastic sealant around the floor and bath areas looks like it was done in a hurry. In fairness it was a very hot night but the mattress and pillows weren't of the best quality and hindered a good nights sleep. I stay in 3/4 hotels a month with work so have stayed in a variety of establishments of varying quality over the years. Whilst we did experience the disappointment of Rm 2, breakfast was excellent (the lady serving the tables was very good) and reception couldn't do enough for you. Our friends in Rm 4 however said their room was fine!

Liked the surrounding area, property itself was outdated, room was very dusty and a bit dirty, especially the floors. Beds were not comfortable. Staff very friendly breakfast was well stocked.

Great for an overnight stay
Had 1 night stay so was able to get to Salisbury and Stonehenge easily from the hotel. Parking was well sufficient. Room was clean and staff were helpful nothing too much trouble. Room was basic and clean ample size for 3 adults. Overall was clean but could do with some cosmetic updating but did the job for us and well within budget

I liked the property. The bedding need some attention, the pillows were very flat. The toilet pan was stained and should have been cleaned properly. The overall experience was very good. Value for money.

Lovely staff sham about hotel.
Over all the room was just about OK, the carpets had stains on it, the bed linen was very cheap, with extra hairs on it. The furniture was in very poor condition, the desk looked like a DIY job, literally 3 planks joined together and painted. The bathroom is old and tired, rust arount the tap area, but the water pressure was good. The whole rooms needed TLC. We stayed in room 4. The staff where lovely, could not fault the breakfast and location excellent for our needs. The Hotel does need to be updated. I regret not taken an photos so i could point out all the broken bits of furniture in the room. Very basic pictures on website i feel a little misleading.

receptionist very helpful and happy, however when I got to my room was disappointed for the price i paid for the room, areas where things had been patched over with paint, and in general looked a bit tired, my main issue was the floor, I slipped as i got out of the shower onto the bath mat and realised it was because the flooring in the bathroom was fitted very badly, this then made me check the flooring in the bedroom which was of similar quality. Couldn't get the tv working either. Overall there are quite a lot of improvements cosmetically that could be made- can't comment on food/bar as didn't use these facilities.
