a very cold time

Reverse cycle heater in main living area far to small for the job and turned itself off all the time. No heating at all in the bedrooms not even an electric blanket. Night time temperature was 5 degrees Centigrade at this time of year.

The 4.5kw system heats the whole house. We’ve never had anyone else say otherwise. There’s also a wall heater in the lounge, extra blankets in the lounge and bedrooms along with fan heaters in the bedrooms for use if needed.
Unfortunately Geraldine didn’t let us know there was an issue otherwise we would have confirmed these options for her.
As an absentee owner, this is the first we are hearing of the split system turning off, we’ll have it looked at.
Electric blankets are a fire risk to the property and not something we listed as available in the listing.

Loved our stay

The beach house was well equipped for our needs, plus it is ideally located for the Pennicott cruise base and also for the Fluted Cape walk, both of which we utilised. Loved feeding the local wallabies. The driveway was a challenge but we managed to get our FWD vehicle up safely.

Beautiful stay in Bruny Island
Publié le 14 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great 3 night stay on Bruny island. The home was very well appointed and was large enough for all 6 of us.
My daughter loved feeding the local Wallabies including 2 albino ones.
Great location, in adventure bay and very close to Bruny cruises and some great walking trails.
The only negative was the drive way was a bit of a challenge for a people mover van.
