Lovely spot,

Missed not have some basics as salt, pepper etc.
Not a great coffee machine in the unit, but good coffee in the village.
Lovely walks along the shore and restaurants with great food.

Nettes Haus im schönen Burgau
Publié le 19 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayDas Haus ist nett, der Pool ist toll und wurde viel genutzt. Die Ausstattung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein wenig Zuwendung vertragen. Alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit. Burgau ist ein wirklich hübscher Ort!

Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have just come back from a 9day break at this villa and to be honest it wasn’t great.
The location of the villa is ok probably 10minutes walk to the beach but it is steep coming coming back, the villa is also on quite a busy road and is pretty much opposite the Nova Beach Club, I mention this as the place does nice food and drink but also has live music, Saturday night was Texhnofunk night and finished at 4am so you can’t park your car and also you will get no sleep they have other live music nights as well which you can here from the villa. The villa itself looks a lot more tired than the photos show, all the bathrooms need upgrading & the kitchen is looking tired, on the upside the pool area is well kepr but it is cold. The cleanliness of the villa is nothing to right home about either the toilet & kitchen were not that clean & the lampshades in the bedroom were thick dust the whole place needs a proper deep clean. There is no welcome pack on arrival which is a bit annoying & no mod cons. For 300euros a night go somewhere else this place is not worth the money

We are very sorry that you felt compelled to write such a negative review, rating considering this is a very comfortable and popular house with very good facilities in a great position near the beach, restaurants and the coastal track. The small village streets in Burgau lead down to the safe sandy beach. There is a TukTuk service around the village. The cleaning staff and manager are regularly praised for their attention to detail so complaints about housekeeping are surprising and we are very sorry that you found shortcomings. Thank you for letting us know as it is important to ensure that standards are maintained. We do offer a welcome pack to guests on request for late arrivals.

Delightful village vacation
Publié le 13 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe village of Burgau is delightful - it contains small shops and restaurants, all within a short walk. The beach is sandy and has beautiful cliffs on either side. The townhouse was perfect for two couples, with plenty of room inside and outside for rest and relaxation. It was clean and well equipped. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker was crummy!
