Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HotelsA wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Ambleside! We had a fantastic stay; the room was comfortable and a good size, with a lovely modern en-suite. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choice. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay again!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the hosts were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Public transport was excellent.. I Would recommend the the guest house to anyone.

Good B&B would stay there again. Minor gripe on my single room with separate bathroom is the dressing gown was small for me, I am tall, the bed squeaked at the slightest moment and the room was too warm for me but I do like to be cool at night so that's a personal preference, as I say minor gripe that wouldn't stop me staying there again.

What a wonderful first stay we had! Lovely greeting and check in to our room which was beautiful and so clean. Breakfast was incredible! I ordered the avocado on toast 3 mornings in a row! Kevin and Tracey were fantastic, always on hand if needed. The area is beautiful and the street was very quiet when we were here. Great walks, even in the rain we had it didn’t spoil a thing. The car park was super handy as we drove, very safe and only a 3 minute walk away. We would most definitely return and recommend Melrose guest house to anyone wishing to visit the lakes.

Perfect location in Ambleside

The bathroom was super new with a smart power shower - excellent ! Breakfast was superb with a range of choices of hot/ cold food , would highly recommend
