Great stay ! Felt like a castle !!

Glorious Scotland
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a family of 16 adults, 7 children and one baby gathering from round the world. Kinblethmont provided a wonderful large home away from home. Everything we needed was provided and the grounds as well as the house are beautiful. We had fantastic weather which, of course, made things even better. Several of us swam at glorious Lunan Bay, walked the Arbroath Cliff Path, visited Glamis Castle and a few took the train to Edinburgh. We had arranged catering with Sinclair's for the adult evening meals which was a luxury but well worth it. There was plenty to do in the house itself (table tennis, snooker, chess, solitaire (several boards) and outside there was a playground, loads of hiding places for fun filled games, badminton, etc. Bird feeders could be viewed from the kitchen and the outside seating was used in the day and evening - it was glorious. Thank you for this delightful opportunity to bring our family together!

American Thanksgiving family reunion
Publié le 1 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayAmericans & Brits all met for a large family reunion at Kinblethmont! The stay was perfect. Communication with Jess & Gem was easy, helpful and kind. The house was absolutely beautiful and always had exactly what was needed- an extra tablecloth, an immersion blender, sharp kitchen knives, etc! Local recommendations from Gem were all spot on as well. A glorious stay!

WISH WE COULD STAY FOREVER!

Jessica was on Holiday so we worked with Gemma who was fantastic, She stayed in touch to make sure we had everything we needed which we did!!! I cannot recommend this property enough. Don't hesitate......book it

Wonderful

Everything you need is there and Jessica and Gemma were so helpful from start to finish. Gardens are beautiful and even the weather cooperated! I thoroughly recommend Kinblethmont if you are lucky enough to have the chance.

Absolutely amazing
Publié le 22 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and would to do this again if we had another large group. Was able to accommodate 22 of us with plenty of extra space and beds leftover. The gardens and grounds are beautiful.
The host, Jessica, was very responsive, thoughtful, and nice throughout the entire process. Gemma, the property manager, was so helpful with everything and gave us a wonderful tour and welcome. The recommendation to use Sinclair's for catering was also spot-on and a must.
No complaints at all, highly highly recommend this property. Do not hesitate to book.

60th Birthday Party

Exceeded expectations

The house was beyond what we expected and as great as it looked in pictures, it was even better in person. Everything we could have needed was provided for, the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked – and all our family were asking where the linens were from, since they liked them so much. The central location allowed us to plan daily excursions to various sites, including a local distillery, the town of Arbroath, St. Andrews, Balmoral Castle and even a drive through the Highlands. The owners (Jessica and Robert) have preserved the character of the home, providing a unique and fun experience, while also ensuring modern amenities and facilities that can support large groups, such as ours. Gemma was fantastic to work with in planning our visit and was available and responsive to all our questions.

The icing on the cake of Scotland
Publié le 29 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayI cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. 15 of us gathered to celebrate a birthday and not only was the house incredibly beautiful and big enough for all of us to be more than comfortable, Gemma went out of her way to help us plan and make things as easy as possible including helping us find caterers, entertainment, and more. Jessica also came to speak with us and share history about the estate. The moment we left we all already began talking about coming back again. At first we thought we might be too remotely located…however, once we got to the mansion, no one wanted to leave except for a day of golf. Thank you, Jessica and Gemma for a magical vacation.

Perfect place for family gathering

Lots of activities, beautiful rooms and gardens and plenty of space to be social or find a room to read a book. Hosts were amazing and responsive. Local golf courses were fab too. Highly recommended.
