Lovely home with a few concerns
Posted Aug. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were a family of 2 parents and 4 adult children in town for a wedding and stayed 2 nights. Easy checkin process. Based on the description, one of the bedrooms is supposed to have a queen bed but only held a double day bed instead. When I read the description that the house could sleep 12 people- I thought the bedrooms would be accommodating for our family but I think 12 people is only if you have lots of smaller kids who don’t mind doubling up. The 3 rd bedroom contains a double bunk bed set with a twin trundle that slides out from under the bunk beds but pulling out the trundle takes up all the floor space next to the bunk beds, making the room very snug for 3 adults. The king bed was very comfortable but is tall for shorter people. There was no top sheet on the bed just a comforter and a bottom sheet. We also only saw 4 large towels in the house the first morning and did not realize the dryer was full of more towels until the 2nd night, after we ran out and purchased some. There was no ability to use the tvs because they required a pin/code and we were trying to use our own account but could not get past the pin requirement. The house is lovely and brand new and we loved the fire pit but were not able to use it during our stay..

Thank you for your feedback! This is the first time some of these things have come up and I have adjusted our welcome guide to include location of sheets and to check the dryer- my apologies!
The coral room did have a queen bed that was switched out for a double bed, you are correct and I am sorry if this did not meet expectations. The previous bed was broken and we wanted to make sure we found a bed that would sleep 2 ASAP. It did not occur to me that this would impact your trip, and for that I apologize!
On the platform there is only a place for Max Occupants based on beds. I am glad you made this review because it is good for others to see your view point of the size of beds and rooms.

Family reunion

Renting our fun
Posted Jun. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayProperty is wonderful! It’s full of modern amenities, is well supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms, has both a front and back porch, is walkable to just about everything that is Atlantic Beach, and plenty of outdoor space for yard games and parked cars.

Would stay here again!
Posted May 7, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was clean and looked brand new! The house was comfortable for everyone. For a dog friendly house I was so happy to see that it was still very clean. Our dog felt like a king with the dog toys and dog beds and our kids loved all the toys and games. The location was perfect and close to great restaurants and also close to the wedding venue we were there for! We highly recommend Shark Shack, Island Grille, Sunset Slush and Mug Shot!
We loved the house so much and would definitely consider staying there again!
