A fantastic beach house
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a great property. The house was very clean, and very comfortable. I loved everything about it. My family particularly enjoyed hanging out at the pool and the freedom to walk straight to the beach. A great experience. Thanks Stefan!

Fantastic location and host!
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWith many beach houses and ski houses as a basis of comparison, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our host, Stefan. And while many so-called beachfront homes require a very long walk to the dunes, then over it, then a long trek to the surf, this wasn’t the case here. My 80+ yo parents (not so steady on their feet), came down to the beach every day, instead of one walk, one day, as they did in Duck last year.
The kids really enjoyed the cool family room in the basement, with its massive tv, video games, and cabana bar.
Finally, I can’t praise enough the upstairs porch, cozy deck furniture, and its fantastic view of the fore mentioned not-so-far-away surf. Great for a rainy day. Finished a good novel up there.

Wonderful Beach Getaway
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at the Mermaid. Right on the beach with its own private pool. Only minutes to restaurants and seconds from the beach. Beautiful upper and lower covered decks with very comfortable outdoor furniture. Morning coffee on the upper deck started every morning on beach time. Stefan was great to work with and very responsive. It was an amazing stay.

lower level 1st floor- pull out sofa is very uncomfortable. We could never get the tv on Wi-Fi- we ended up using our mobile phones to connect to the tv.
AT night there are lots of bugs in lower level area.
BUT OVERALL, our stay was nice - pool and hot tub was very nice.

I wish I had heard from this guest. I call on the second day and make clear to my guest that they can call me if they need anything at any time. I pay for the best Wifi. When this guest left the system needed to be reset which is a simple fix. Turn it off Turn it on.
The bottom play room with big screen tv , second fridge and video games where the kids hang out will get bugs when doors are left open.
The pull out couch has the upgraded mattress but like most pull outs is not that comfortable. I would have told the guest this if they had asked to use couch as a bed. On my listing it states that if you are going to use couch bed you need to let me know.
This guest did not do that.

Dolphin house
