Our family stayed at the War Gram Eagle house when we came back to Auburn to move our son into his college apartment. The reservation was simple and we immediately received a welcome message from the owner, Wendy, with instructions on how to enter the home. The electronic keypad on the door made it easy to enter the home after a long day of driving and moving items. The home was clean and very cute. The extra amenities like coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, snacks, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers, etc made the stay extremely convenient. Wendy staying in contact with us, responding to our messages very quickly, and the instructions in the home all made our stay enjoyable and efficient. We will definitely try to stay at War Gram Eagle again whenever we find ourselves back in Auburn!

Cute townhouse, good location, but …….
Publié le 2 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a cute townhouse in a good location. The owners seemed very nice and were quick to respond when contacted. There are nice touches, such as treats and games for those interested. I would love to give this my usual five star rating, but in all fairness to my fellow renters I feel I must be truthful. This place is in obvious need of a thorough deep cleaning, and some tender, loving care. Among other things the floors were gritty, the oven greasy, the shower curtains were moldy, and there was a thick layer of dust in many areas. We cleaned it to the best of our ability when we arrived and left it in better condition. In defense of the owner, she states she has not seen it in several months and will now hire a professional cleaning company to rectify the situation. I sincerely hope she does as it has a lot of potential. Replacing the beds would also be good since two people sharing a bed will roll together in the middle. A few dollars and some maintenance would bring this up to the standards we expect when renting from VRBO. I wish the owners the best.

It is important to mention that I immediately offered to send my cleaner over to clean the floors and anything else that needed to be done. I refunded your cleaning fee as well. While it is true that I, personally, have not been to the property because I'm caring for my daughter who has Stage 4 ovarian cancer, my husband and property manager have been there to make sure things were going as they should. It is also worth mentioning that you sent multiple messages to my cell phone with complaints even after my offers to remedy the situation.
We have 3 properties and we have almost 100% 5-star reviews.

Comfy, convenient town home
Publié le 25 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis town was perfect for my mom and I. And it could have easily accomodated more. The beds are comfy, the decor is adorable and it feels like home away from home. It has all the amenities. Parking is super easy and it's an easy drive to campus.
We'll likely reserve this VRBO again in the future.

Graduation stay
