Location, location, location!

A place for some time away
Publié le 26 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our first VRBO experience and it has set the bar high. We had a last minute trip to Michigan due to the loss of a loved one. Since we were traveling with our adult children we compared getting multiple hotel rooms and getting a house and the house won out. We had space and a place to be to process the emotional week we were there.
It was nice having a kitchen and being able to sit down to breakfast together each morning before heading out to take care of our various obligations. The proximity to Frankenmuth was wonderful. We were able to carve out family time in one of our favorite Michigan places.
Our host was communicative and proactive. We had a storm in the midst of our stay which took out the power for a day. We made the best of it and went out and about for the day until it was back on. Dave kept us up to date on the power restore and answered all of my many questions .
They even left a flower and a note expressing their condolences on our loss. It was a rough week emotionally and having a quiet place for some peace made it so much better. Highly recommend this property and its owners.

Christmas shopping get away
