Anniversary Trip
Posted Sep. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a chilly, rainy week so it really helped to have the hot tub and sauna. So relaxing. The fenced in yard was really nice for our dog. The interior is very nicely decorated. Short walk to downtown for some great restaurants and brewery with others in driving distance. Easy, flat driveway to park in with room for more than one car. Hosts were very responsive.

Lovely home, super convenient location

Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday
Posted Jun. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayMy wife and I enjoyed a fine stay at the Blue Fox Cottage. The home was just as it was represented on the site, and was clean and tidy. The host was efficient with check-in and the house rules were clear and reasonable. Although we didn't use the sauna it is new and immaculate inside. The hot tub was a pleasant experience. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We would certainly stay there again!

Best place ever!

Enjoyed hot tub! Loved that the outside fire pit came with wood and smores!!!

Newborn Escape
Posted Mar. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayWe have a 4 week old and needed a change of scenery from our home. We booked this cottage as a get away and loved it. We brought two dogs who loved the back yard and was very convenient with a newborn and being able to walk to downtown. Very clean. Host quick to respond. My wife actually got sick while there and we were able to visit the local urgent care which was 2 minutes away. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great cottage in the perfect location!
Posted Aug. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayOur family was visiting the Asheville area but wanted a laid back location where we could walk to restaurants and shops. The cottage was perfect! It’s a 3-10 minute walk from the adorable downtown area full of shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was very safe, quiet, and friendly (a lot of people walking, running, and sitting outside waving as we passed). There are some houses on the street that seem to be under going repairs, and at first glance might seem questionable, but we stayed for 5 days and had zero issues with any neighbors or noise, and felt safe leaving our teen and pre-teen at the cottage while we went to the local grocery store (Ingles, a few minutes drive). The cottage itself is very cute and updated. It had everything we needed to cook meals. It has a lot of board games to enjoy. The beds are very comfortable, and we all enjoyed the hot tub in the cute backyard. We were a little concerned initially with only having one bathroom for four of us, but it was never an issue! Overall, we greatly enjoyed the cottage and would definitely stay again!
