Ricardo forgot that we had a reservation! He left the country without telling his housekeeper or his brother about our stay. I am just grateful that his housekeeper came out of the house after we kept ringing the gate bell to inform us what happened. But understandably she couldn't let us in so we had to wait for Ricardo's brother. Once he saw our confirmation, he made sure to smooth everything out and we were able to stay in the property. The cabana is beautiful and the property is filled with peacocks roaming about, but there is no washer as advertised. It is located 10-15 minutes away from town so taking a taxi is a must. It's a walking distance from an excellent cafe and pizza restaurant. The property is excellent, but poor communication by the host made it hard to love our stay.
