Spring weekend getaway
Publié le 2 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayEasy checkin and necessary amenities made treehouse living a breeze. Challenging but well groomed hills made trails manageable for young kids (4&7). Creeks, tree swings hammocks all seemed a perfect an often timely compliment. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind a little excersize and some time unplugged.

Publié le 10 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayThis is a great retreat with lots of fun adventures — tree climb, hike, visit Augusta, eat at the Bee Hive. The bathroom situation was a bit of a shock for my kids, but they can’t always be princesses. :)

Amy great to hear you had lots of fun adventures! Augusta is a must! We also want guests to know that yes the compost toilet that is a 5 second walk outside your treehouse does not have running water.
However you do have your own nice bathhouse about football field away that does have sink, toilet, running water and shower.
We agree too It's a great idea to get out of your comfort zone and experience off the grid living

Publié le 15 août 2019 sur HomeAwayWho wouldn't want to stay in a tree house? This is an incredible destination for people who want to get away from everything, including the ground. You stay in the woods, sleeping in the tree tops.
The property was immense, over 200 acres to explore, trails to hike, and things to find. They also have a tree climbing experience if you want to climb. The property was very clean. While there is no power at the tree house, there are batteries available for charging your cell phone, a generator for A/C if you need it, plus battery powered fans and lights.
I couldn't recommend this property enough, and look forward to another get away there.

Great stay

Awesome experience.

We stayed in the treehouse with our three grandchildren and did the tree climb with Bill.
Everything was fantastic.
I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a special time with family away from the noise
of life.
We will be back.

Omg the beauty!

So when it randomly popped up in an add on my Facebook and I saw it was close to home. I knew this adventure was for me!! It was like staying in a tiny fairy house in the woods. It was cozy and the weather was prefect for our little girl's trip! I'm so appreciative of the little farm and the memories made. We are definitely booking again for a bigger girl's trip this time! 😍

Fantastic treehouse
Publié le 14 avr. 2019 sur HomeAwayThis little treehouse was simply adorable. The trails were nice and very clean. There wasn’t even a wrapper or any garbage anywhere on the property. Impeccable.
Which we found to be ironic at the same time because the only complaint we have about the entire experience is the lack of trash cans. It made it a bit more challenging to do the trails if you want to take some beverages along with you cause we had to carry a separate bag for trash. Also having to take your trash with you was a bit of an inconvenience as well. But other than that this place is exactly what we wanted. A nice little get away from the chaos and some piece and quiet. Would definitely recommend!!!

Melissa we loved hosting you! Thank you for choosing us and happy to hear you found peace. We want guests to know that garbage cans on trails are not a good idea. We follow the rules pack it in pack it out. We have nature, and wild animals throughout the property so it's important to keep it as natural as possible. Just as other parks do not have trash cans on trails. We also ask guests to take their trash out of the treehouse and place it in the rumpke garbage can located by the bathhouse for another good reason it draws ants and other critters in between guests. Thank you for your input as we do love suggestions and make changes to enhance others experience and gives us the opportunity to educate our guests on our reasoning for certain policies and rules.

A perfect oasis

Loved the unique stay, the surrounding wilderness cities, the friendly people, and the seclusion of this cozy escape! We also made a new friend with a flying squirrel that was adorable! Booking was a breeze and I felt very welcomed and accommodated for without being bothered! Will definitely enjoy coming back again!
