We are very sorry for your problematic experience with us, we would never have wanted you to have problems especially with a baby only a few months old. But we would like to clarify the situation. The last part of July 2022 was the hottest period ever recorded not only in Italy but in the whole of Europe. This premise is indispensable to clarify the climatic situation during that period. We run a model agritourism; since 2009 we have been one of the most ecological agritourisms in the whole of Tuscany. We have floor cooling and heating with heat pumps and a geothermal system. Under the floor runs a series of pipes with cold water that cools the entire environment at a temperature of between 24 and 26 degrees In Europe this temperature is considered optimal for people's health. Particularly because there is not the flow of icy air that wall-mounted air conditioners emit. It is also ideal for children and babies. For us Europeans, underfloor cooling is considered one of the best and most ecological systems for cooling the environment . I would also like to point out that in the summer of 2022 the Italian government has imposed an internal temperature of not less than 27° Celsius. On the day of Mrs. Christina's arrival the flat recorded a temperature of 27° Celsius because when there is a change of guests it is compulsory - to comply with the anti covid regulations - to keep the windows open for at least two or three hours. You had been informed about these rules beforehand. At the time of your arrival the outside temperature was about 40/42°C and the inside temperature 26/27°C. I totally dispute the temperatures reported in this review. They are not real. We have been working for 14 years and we have only 5-star reviews. If this cooling system was not appreciated and well functioning, we would not have been able to work successfully for so many years. I believe that these guests perceived a much higher temperature than the real one. This did not happen to the other families present on those days. Therefore, I would like to state with certainty that our cooling system complies with what is advertised on VRBO. Silvana Freddi
