It was located near Nyungwe NP. Lovedthe views from our balcony. The staff was outstanding. We enjoyed the entertainment too.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a porch that provide great views. The landscaping is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The house keeping service is superb. I had a wonderful stay there.

Aged and not a value-for-money
Publié le 8 sept. 2020 sur HotelsVery underwhelming. Was the more expensive hotel in an 11 day stay on Rwanda. Hotel is old, staff just going through the motions. Hot water needed fixing. Its location is convenient for the chimp tour.

Good hotel, great staff and location
Publié le 10 juin 2019 sur HotelsA good value hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff who are always on hand to answer any questions. Comfortable and clean rooms which always had hot water. The food is of a very good standard (compliments to the chef). Tea plantations (Gisakura) are a short walk away and you'll meet a lot of friendly locals on the road. Short drive (25 mins) to the start of most treks in Nyungwe with the usual place for Chimp trekking (Cyamadongo) being around 1 hour away.
Some disruption with electricity but the staff were always quick to put on the generator (remember you are in rural Rwanda where electricity is a privilege for the majority of the population, so stay patient). Wifi is only available in the main building which is great for switching off in your room. My one critique would be the price for tea/water was excessively high.
