Even 5 months after a guest departs, we appreciate an informative review just the same. This guest reported the coffee carafe had broken, so we promptly delivered a replacement. As well, it was reported that none of the outlets on a kitchen wall were working, including one that powers the microwave.. We asked our guest to check the breaker, re-set it, etc, to which she confirmed that no breaker was tripped. Unfortunately, the guest finished out her stay without a microwave. Upon departure, we found that the breaker to all of the outlets on that kitchen wall, including the one that powers the microwave, were indeed, tripped. Very disappointing, as we always want guests to have everything they want for their stay.

Texas Rose by Canyon Lake
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall the house was good. There were plenty of positives about the property. The view was fabulous. On the negative side the house could have been a little cleaner. We found mold in 2 of the 3 showers, and we found chip crumbs and French fries in the carpet.

Great two family rental
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is three levels with two bedrooms on the top floor and two on the bottom floor. The main level has dining and sitting and kitchen and the lower level has the game room with pool table. No TV on the lowest level at all. There is a very small amount of dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels and borax in the house, just enough for 1-2 nights. There is not foil, kitchen counter cleaner or any seasonings at all in the house. The beds in the two queen rooms are very comfortable and have a thick memory foam topper. The two rooms with the single queens are very uncomfortable without any topper. There are probably not enough forks and spoons in the house and with two families you will wash all the silverware each day. The house is water front but the lake is so incredibly low it is not reasonable to walk to it. There is no path so you're walking through the wild in water shoes which is no good. There is a boat ramp around the corner which is easier to access but the ramp is closed because of the low water so you're really just getting a pathway down to the water line which is valuable. There are some people that set up their easy ups down by the water but it is far- like more than 100 yards from the bottom of the boat ramp. The water line near the house is mostly overgrown with lake plants so it's a little yucky. I just listed the cons- but it's a great house and we enjoyed our stay.

Beauty and wildlife

Really enjoyed this property!
Publié le 31 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayStunning view, very well maintained property! For a rental it has a great selection of pans and utensils, that made my heart happy. This home is set up great for family's that love to cook dinner and eat around the table together or the fire pit!with a little down hill walk you can get some fishing or swimming in! Game room was a hit for the kids when they were done fishing! Highly recommended and would stay again! Beware lots of stairs may be harder on older groups, I myself enjoyed it!

Lovely house
Publié le 23 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is very lovely with a great view. Our group was older and it would have been nice to know that there were no bedrooms on the main level. That was an issue for us as some of us were unable to navigate the stairs to the bedrooms..

Million Dollar View
