It was very convenient. Beautiful landscaping. The cottage needs a mirror. The only one was im bathroom. I recommend a full length mirror in bedroom.

Nothing else needed
Publié le 12 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayPerfect trip. My husband and I stayed for several days. Weather was perfect. Cottage was perfect. Pool was perfect. and yes, beach was perfect.
Do not hesitate booking here.
Perfect for a couple and one child. We had a 1 bd.
Just make sure you stop at Walmart before crossing bridge to Sanibel. Not much shopping on Island and what there is will be expensive.

Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere!
Publié le 20 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayI had the pleasure of staying at the #6 cottage for two night. It was peaceful, quiet and very comfortable. It is waking distance to the beach, some stores and restaurants. Good side to see a sunrise. Next time I will stay longer!

Captiva is almost heaven.
Publié le 17 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis little cottage has everything you need. It is cute, clean and spacious for two people. All appliances worked well and the bed is comfortable. It is also within walking distance of many restaurants and historic sites.
Only negitive...3 days before checking in there was confusion about a contract I was suppose to have received via email to sgn and return. I never received a contract but the impolite lady at the real estate company insisted she sent it. We got that cleared up and did not let it ruin our time in florida. Bottom line, if you rent via VRBO and think you are good to go, you are not. Contact American Captiva Rentals for the rest of the story. I have used VRBO many times in the past but never had this issue before. I do not think I would rent this cottage again because of this confusion regarding addition contract signage.

One night getaway

Great Little Place
Publié le 18 août 2021 sur HomeAwaySuper cute, comfortable little property. Had everything we needed. Walking distance to pretty much anything on Captiva. Quiet. Never really heard or saw other visitors unless coming/going. The pool is definitely on the smaller side and the one dock/pier is broken and supposedly ensnarled in some legal battle (we heard about as we passed by the property on our shelling trip with Captiva Cruises—the tour guide talked about it!) So you can’t walk out on it, but the shoreline there is a beautiful place to sit and watch a sunrise. Would definitely recommend!!!
