Fantastic despite less than ideal location
Publié le 13 mai 2018 sur HomeAwayCathy great to work with but we got a less than ideal location with view of a street and stop sign. I asked that we be moved to a better location when we checked in but we were told that the resort was full, too bad so sad. I appreciated Cathy giving them a call but to no avail. Otherwise the Aviara is a knockout in stunning Carlsbad. I’m a bit nervous about booking in the future as I was told that owners will get priority locations. This may have been a one off unfortunate situation as owners we spoke with around the property said they really enjoy their residences. Overall a 4.5 but would have appreciated a better location for sure.

Just noticed your review Mary. Yes, even the owners don't get a choice of the Villa they would prefer. Maybe they try, but seldom does it work. I'd also like this changed but I think it just depends on how busy the Resort is when booked. Please know that all Villas are exactly the same size, layout & furnished the same. All have some view, either Golf Course, River, Swimming Pool, Gardens or Trees.
