OUR LOCATION
Wayfarer's Inn is located in beautiful Hickman County Tennessee. Much of what you'll experience here is a rich history of farming, homesteading, hiking, fishing, and off-roading. Locals who have been here for generations provide its strong sense of stability and family values. Newcomers who have been inspired by those values and who desire a slower pace in life offer a welcoming new vision for its prospering future.
Hickman County offers much in the way of music as well. Centerville is home of the longest running live radio show, the Grinder's Switch Hour, in Tennessee. It's hosted and performed by long standing local musicians and open to the public on Saturday mornings at 10 am in the old Ice House near the downtown square. Should you desire to check out our local scene our front porch is only a five minute drive to the Historic Downtown Square.
Wayfarer's Inn neighbors Hwy 100, which offers it's guests easy access to and from local amenities and attractions. Although it is busy with travelers, local commuters, and school bus traffic during the week days, one is unaware of the traffic when inside the premises. Weekend stays offer a quieter atmosphere and porch sitting is highly recommend. Its gardens are beautiful and the wildlife plentiful. This property sits back off the road, and the woodland surroundings provide a calming affect. Either way, whether your stay happens during the week or the weekend, time spent here is a lovely experience.
