Could not stay at the property.

Arrived at 3:30, dirty sheets on beds, dirty towels in the bathroom floors. Could not reach the host. Could not stay in unclean environment. Had to find a hotel and Vrbo did not cover the entire cost. I am not happy.

SCARY

We arrived late to the property coming from Chicago and the front door was wide open. My husband went in to find unmade beds and dirty linens every where also a dirty used fork on the kitchen counter and a possible squater in one of the bedrooms... as we were just passing through on our drive to Myrtle Beach we just continued on our journey with no rest and traumatized children.

Great location, but water damage in Foyer.

The location is a love location however, I was inform that the place was being repair do to water issue. Then I was told that one of the bathroom(master) would be unavailable. When I ask if there be discount do to the lack of use of bathroom(master) Jeff, stated" The leak in the shower was fixed, there is a couple pieces of the tile that still need to be fixed, but has no leak anymore so you are able to use it." But when we used the shower, we notice there was still a major leak and water damage in the foyer where the bathroom sit over. We send a message, we never got a message back and we did inform Jeff in our message we had pictures of the issue. But the over all stay wasn't horrible but that did give me concern with future stay. As I travel to the area for sick family member.

Not what they said it was

The house was not equipped wit the necessary needs. No toilet paper, no trash bags. Refrigerator was broken! My food spoiled due to the fridge temperatures. The freezer only got cold!! Ice machine didn’t work! Furniture was broken down! Certain spots on the couch had no support at all! The porch was infested wit termites!! And the ceiling had a crack in it that leaked every time some one took a shower!! The whole experience was terrible due to bad management of the property! I fell I was over charged for this property! I choose the property based on its amenities a location!!

Very nice house. Was clean and just like the pictures. Easy check-in and check-out. Beds were comfortable.

Be aware they don’t communicate well

Facts: had a medical emergency and tried to communicate with host and get clarification on several issues prior to our visit. We didn’t actually stay in this space. Too many factors made it difficult to make this work. Get the trip insurance and cancel if you need to cancel. This was such a huge hassle. My properties in Fayetteville and Fayette County are far superior and great with communication. We didn’t stay in Fayetteville because we had family members in the Charleston area. My summary is to look elsewhere if you need accommodations. The message platform for Vrbo is to help guest and host have things in writing. This host is slow to reply and does not follow up on messages in a timely manner. Space looks nice but we can’t comment accurately on appearances.

Life to stay but was over exaggerated.

The overall property is a nice property, however there were several things that I found that made the stay difficult. 1. The check-in process was difficult because I was giving the wrong access code to the front door. And thereafter-hour services as I came in very late from off the road was not helpful immediately because they were not available at that time I was there. It took me several hours to get in touch with their after hours support. And several tries to finally get the code and I was in a position where it was uncomfortable for me as I had medical issues with my back. Later that morning I called, because someone was told that they were booked in the same townhouse which was easily resolved. But I was also informed by the property manager that she gave me the wrong access code and apologize for it. 2. Once I was in the property the overall aesthetics is very pleasing except you can tell they have a few things that need to be handled by their maintenance crew or handyman team. The blinds in the living room were crack. In the kitchen sink will not have running water, it started and stopped. The furniture also has some discrepancies and the couch clearly had a another pillow put up under it to hide that there was a severe dip in it, as well as the love seat could be seen having some tears and was separating where the upholstery meant the frame. The upstairs rooms were very spacious and lovely the bathrooms seem to be very well clean except tiles missing in master shower

Did Not get what I paid for

First- code wouldn’t work to open the door and property manager did not answer when I called and text her. After 30 minutes, a man from business across from property came over and said people had just checked out and he didn’t think it was cleaned. He had a code and went in and confirmed that it had not been cleaned so he called property manager and she showed up 30 minutes later…never did reply back to my call or text(multiple) She said she had been out of town and could not get the unit cleaned for us but could put us in unit next door. We booked the Corporate Unit(more money and MUCH nicer) This unit had dirty dishes in the dishwasher…no soap for dishwasher. There was dirty dishes in the cabinets(dried up egg looked like) dirty silverware in with the “clean” The tub had something in it…poop or puke(not sure). Very limited supplies that traveling people would need. We drove 8 hours and sat in the driveway for over an hour. Very disappointed

Overall, nice place when considering the area. Could use a better cleaning, but quick response from manager. (Kitchen sink has handle and motion sensor if the sign letting you know happens to be in a drawer like it was for us)

Avoid the nastiness and VRBO S.O.L helpdesk

Lies and scam. Irresponsible to continue listing this property! Believe the NOT clean reviews and avoid! The nohelpdesk will take your money/try to say your cancelling b/c the conditions are unacceptable and toxic, offer no assistance and do everything but the right thing. Renter beware!
