Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayFun stay. AC went out one day in but the property manager was vigilant and got us into a second property that was newer and bigger near Scott Stadium. Ended up being a great week, thanks!

Publié le 21 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was great. Only we were not left any dishwasher detergent. I did call the number you gave me. It only got a voice mail so we hand washed most dishes but had to leave early this AM and left a few cups, etc in dishwasher.

Comfortable and spacious
Publié le 25 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayNeighborhood felt safe and is very close to Downtown Mall and UVA. Convenient parking for at least 4 cars. Beds were comfortable. Our group was 8 adults and it felt like we had room to spare. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy to correspond with host. Thank you, we had a great time!

The perfect house for kids!

There is a well-equipped toy room and second family room downstairs, climbing wall, crib, and extra folding chairs. We appreciated the extra space and toys. The space was clean and functional, and the property management company was easy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Great vacation home

Spiders spiders everywhere
Publié le 26 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe basement was full of spiders and a cricket and had what appeared to be mouse droppings, or maybe just more bug remnants, in the bathroom. The house is extremely old and the basement needs major renovations to improve its temperature as it gets extremely cold when the AC is run to cool the upstairs to a desirable temperature. Also, the entire house has hardwood floors and as such it is extremely noisy. Whatever is going on in one part of the home can be heard everywhere else. I do NOT recommend staying here if you have small children or do not like bugs.

We want future guests to be aware that we did everything within our power to resolve the issues this guest reported. This home is most certainly not full of spiders or other insects and actually receives preventative monthly pest control service. When this guest called to report finding an old cobweb and that the temperature in the lower level was too cool (not a common issue when the outside temps are over 90), we immediately offered our services to visit the home and troubleshoot. We also offered to have a professional revisit the home. This guest adamantly refused any assistance and stated we could not visit the home. They also repeatedly insisted on compensation with the threat of bad reviews, but still wanted to stay through the remainder of their reservation. We did issue a full refund to this guest and hope that our efforts to remedy were evident. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about future stays.

Excellent weekend getaway for friends.
