Nice Cozy Home!!

They host was very responsive when I had questions about the unit. The only thing we had to purchase was face towels there was only one face towel. Other than that I would definitely stay again VERY NICE HOME!!!!

Convention Center stay
Publié le 25 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe reason for our stay was for an event at the Tinley Park Convention Center. The only good about the place was it was clean, and it was roomy enough for the four of us. However, as soon as we entered the place, we realized the air conditioning was not working properly. The thermostat read 83 inside. I immediately texted the host and was told she was unaware of the problem with the A/C and it was strange because it was 66 when she was there earlier. She said she would send a tech by. The tech showed up and all he did was take pictures and let us know it was the 2nd time someone was there that day. So obviously, there was a problem with the A/C. The issue was never resolved, and we ended up having to buy fans and open the windows that evening to cool the place done. We never heard anything more from the host regarding the issue. Another major concerning issue was when we arrived and retrieved the three keys from the lockbox we were unsure what condo was ours. We tried the keys and they opened another condo that was not ours, as soon as it was opened there were shoes on the floor, and I could tell it wasn’t ours from the description online. Thankfully there wasn’t anyone there because it could have ended very unpleasantly.
We got the impression we were the first to ever rent the place. Needless to say, we were there to sleep and that was basically it. We should have been notified of the problem with the A/C and the issue with the keys should not have happened.

I am so sorry that you did not have a good time at our suite. To address your first concern when the cleaners and I were there that morning the temperature was 66°. Since it was that cool we were under the impression the air condition was working. It was not until you addressed your concerns that we were notified on the Air conditioner not working. We then sent a tech that arrived no later than an hour since you addressed your concern. The tech that you spoke to relayed incorrect information to you. Weeks have gone by since the last tech was there and the air blower was speed was fixed at that last appt. That is why we thought the AC was in great condition because it was repaired by their company. It was from my understanding from the tech that the problem was fixed. Since no additional concerns were made aware by you we thought the problem was resolved.
To address your second concern in our check-in message it was clearly stated suite 2W. It was not our fault for you went to the wrong door since the suite number was clearly communicated to you and your guests. Since then I have notified the landlord and she has changed the keys. All in all the correct suite number was written in the directions. And the suite number was on the door.
Since your stay, we noticed that although the system was blowing out cool air, it was not as cold as we would like it to be. The air condition has been replaced with the new system and it’s working amazing.
You were not the first guest to stay at our space and have had amazing feedback from other guest on other platforms.
We deeply regret that you didn’t enjoy your stay due to air conditioning. But we do want to confirm that system has been replaced with a brand new system and works amazing.
