Property was dirty, pool was unusable and swamp cooler did nit work well....

I am sorry this guest did not have an optimum experience. I had talks with my pool service guy and my house cleaner who are both assiduous in their care; however, we did have a great deal of wind before guests arrived for their two-day stay and the pool had dust in it that had settled to the bottom. The serviceman came and attended to it as quickly as he could. My housecleaner tells me there was no difference in their cleaning protocol for these guests as for any other guest. I did have workmen in to install an AZ in addition to the EVAP cooler and they may have left some sort of crumbs on the LR floor. I do not know. Unhappy that this was a bad experience for this guest. Apologies.

Nice location

For example, there were food crumbs on the floor in the living room. Even though the pool was cleaned during our stay, it was only surface cleaned. Even immediately after the cleaner left, there was debris all over the pool bottom.

Apologies for any inconveniece. There had been a hiatus between your stay and the last, but that's no excuse for any cleanlilness issues. I have sent along your message to housecleaner and pool service company. These folks are not inexpensive, so there should be no issues such as you describe. Hope you enjoyed your stay, nonetheless.

Great stay
Publié le 14 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe barn was a great stay, secluded but close to everything. Only one small issue came up and it was resolved after prompt responses from Mary. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will try to book here again if we ever come back.

Family vacation
Publié le 12 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayFamily vacation, first time in Arizona. We, family of 5 adults, spent the week in the barn. The barn was large, open and clean. We loved the pool and spent hours out there. Also really enjoyed both covered porches. I read the reviews and felt like most were accurate but some people like to nitpick the small stuff. The only issue we had was with the evaporative cooling system. Wasn’t working well when we got there. Was eventually fixed and the system kept the house comfortable after that.
This was my first time in the desert southwest. Boy are the insects and spiders HUGE here.

Girls Trip-

Girls enjoyed the pool and the largest bedroom where they could all be together. Well furnished for everything we needed. Thanks for a great vacation.

House needs lots of work

If you want nice don’t stay here it’s ok for lots of people but not nice to sleep at night
Location is good pool is ok to cool off but not very big. I would not recommend

Please read all of our reviews. I’m sorry this guest was not pleased—it is good to read about a property so that you you know it’s the right fit for your stay. Evaporative cooling works differently from AC as is explained on website. Pool is visible there as well—a pool for laps and play was our design. Monsoon season brings significant humidity so a door could swell. Only 4 interior doors—regardless, the property does not always make a fit with every guest.

The Barn
Publié le 7 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe Barn is in the perfect location. It is just a short five minute drive to old Town Cottonwood. The hiking trails are close. It is quiet and quaint. We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks from the back yard. Great place to stay.
