Discovering Dalbeattie

Comfortable flat in a great setting
Publié le 21 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay in Portling View. The accommodation worked really well for us (three adults and a dog). It is a comfortable flat with a very well equipped kitchen. The garden area is a short distance from the door, and it worked really well for morning and evening dog runs. The fine weather meant we enjoyed numerous local walks, and if you are looking for something a little different then the Segway tours at nearby Gorsebank Active can't be bettered - even for us as seniors!

Great stay
Publié le 11 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was extremely spacious and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location. The secure garden was great for our dog. The little beach was 5 minutes walk and the best in the area. There were some lovely walks in the vicinity and a couple of good pubs in the village of Kippford. We had a lovely stay.

Thank you very much and we welcome your useful and constructive feedback. The finesse points as listed will be addressed. Regarding the duvets and pillows: all are new this year but we avoid the higher "quality" duck down/feather based options due to health risks for guests (allergies). But we note your comment and will look into options to further improve them.

Lovely and Quite beautiful

Very well appointed with everything you need from cutlery to glasses and pans, tv and bedding with towels. Can't ask for more. One hour from M6 and central to everywhere in Dumfries and Galloway. David is on hand but never intrusive.
