Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HotelsThe door to the room was very hard to open. Almost felt like we had to break it down to get in. And then force it shut. The rooms and halls smelled of mildew. But it wasn’t bad for us just needing a place to sleep on our drive

Not clean
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HotelsA non-smoking room can’t smelll like smoke. The shower drain was clogged and the tub filled with water. Overall the cleanliness of the room was less than desirable.

An older facility, but clean. Convenient next to a major interstate exit and on major thoroughfare into Des Moines. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff talked super quiet, could barely hear what they were saying. Lots of odd folks walking around, not sure if they were staying at the hotel or not. Housekeeping left a dirty rag in the room.

Room was clean, and dark at night. Staff was great, and breakfast was better than most “continental” ones.
