Wheelchair-friendly condo
Publié le 16 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayReally nice property in a peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the surrounding scenery and wildlife. The condo was well stocked and comfortable for 2 people. The bed and furniture were comfortable to use, and everything was very clean.
I am a full-time manual wheelchair user and paraplegic. Overall, this condo was wheelchair-friendly and worked for us.
There is a small (4 inch) step up onto the porch, which I needed assistance to clear. Hallways, doorways and open areas around the condo were adequately wide enough to maneuver around. I was not able to direct transfer to the bed due to the bed height, but was able to manage with a transfer board.
The bathroom has one grab bar to the right of the toilet, no grab bars at the shower. If anything is lacking accessibility-wise, more grab bars would have been helpful.
This condo is a great option for someone who needs accessible accommodations. If we're in the Treasure Lake area in the future, we would stay here again.

Baseball tournament trip
Publié le 27 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for the Small College World Series tournament. We stayed 5 days and enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a very peaceful setting on the 12th hole of the Silver course. The condo was easy to find and great for quick getaways.
The owner was very prompt to answer all communications.
The only downsides are no closet or dresser to put away clothing and no washer dryer in the condo. (There is a public laundry facility close by at the clubhouse but we did not use it).
Kitchen was stocked well and the Wi-Fi worked great!
