The listing title says it all! Great hosts, cozy home, everything you need while traveling, and perfect location right near the center of town. Food and drink right outside the front door (if you decide not to use the kitchen). Encampment is such a beautiful town, with wonderful people, and our group had a wonderful time made possible by staying at Bob & Ros'. Thank You

Puzzling experience

The property was accurately represented by the photos on the site. I rented this for members of our family as an additional place to stay while visiting the area. My parents live in and are well established in this town but additional housing adds to the comfort of the visit. My family members were surprised to be approached by the host upon arrival with additional paperwork AND an addtional fee for one person over "2" (there were 3 total). This was unexpected as the house clearly accomodates more that two people and we did not recall this being in any part of the agreement. We have traveled a lot have never been approached in this manner. This place was a place to stay but the hospitality left much to be desired. Not recommended.

I am sorry you were not happy with the hospitality. When you booked the stay, the website asks how many people will be staying there. My rates are based on those numbers. I also greet people with extra paperwork for a number of reasons: to make sure they have complied with the agreements of the VRBO website; to procure a means of payment if there is any damage to the property, and to be sure the guest(s) is comfortable with the accommodations. I cannot trust guests with a simple non-contact approach. Too many things happen when I do this.

We really like the house. It is vintage but very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Upside we got to meet the owners, they are nice people. We would stay there again 😀

Snowmobiling

We went snowmobiling in the Sierra Madres in camp. It was a great place to stay. The house was clean a little small for five people but it worked. Clean place and well kept.
