Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayUnfortunately Hurrican Helene changed our plans and we had to Cancel till WNC recovers as well as our town Yankeetown Fl where over 200 homes were flooded by storm surge. Cara was so helpful and understanding we will see you next year.

Lovely cabin

Problems with TV connection but probably because of recent hurricane damage. Could not get gas logs to work but owner indicated they would get looked at. Would definitely return.

Trip to Boone for a wedding
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I needed a place to stay for a wedding. We wanted to spend a few days seeing the sights and still be near tbe venue. The venue was about 20 minutes way and the cabin was about 20 minutes to downtown Boone. It was a great location. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. You can watch the deer and squirrels from the kitchen window. I enjoyed my coffee on the back porch.
The neighborhood is beautiful. The roads are in good condition. The host was kind enough to leave the porch light on for us since we were arriving after dark.

Wonderful Stay!

Peaceful, refreshing retreat
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to get away for some quiet time in the woods. We saw deer, squirrels, chipmunks & an abundance of birds. Beds were very comfy. Carra is a very thoughtful host. We hope to visit again.

CABIN LOVE

Only thing was, the yard needed a little extra attention...grass was high and needed some weeding. But overall we plan to come back and stay here again. Perfect location to Boone and Blowing rock.
