The beach house is nice, a little outdated, & the bathtub definitely needs replaced, as you can tell the salt water has not been easy on it. The water smelted like sewage the whole time we were there. The WiFi/TV in the living room didn’t work half the time, but you’re at the beach! The views from the deck were beautiful! The amenities were nice! Overall, would stay here again!

We agree this quite the spectacular seaside spot, thank you for noting Lindsie. We appreciate the compliments and feedback we can pass along to this home's owner. As for the utility water and the scent, that is a product of the Village of Surfside. It unfortunately, can be aromatic at times (not in a good way), but being on an island, it seems to come with the territory. We would be delighted to host you again.

It was the perfect size and distance for me and my kiddos. It was a bit cold but they had a great time and that's all that matters! Looking forward to staying again.

Renovating

Perfect location
Publié le 11 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayLocation was perfect and right on beach. Watching the sunrise in front of the condo. Walking distance to local Bar and Grill with outdoor amenities. Upstairs is best for December warm weather due to mosquitoes. Had a great time walking the beach and soaking up the sounds of the waves.

Fun Weekend
Publié le 18 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe description of the property is completely accurate. It is very clean and right on the pedestrian beach. As someone that likes to cook, the kitchen could be a little more equipped. Wine glasses are a must for any beach house. There’s not any place to put down your toiletry bags etc. The bathroom sure is big enough to add shelves of some sort. Or, a small piece of furniture with drawers.
Communication was thorough and swift. If you want a great balcony to people watch and enjoy the gulf, this is your place. Thank you for a wonderful stay,

As Described in Listing BUT...
Publié le 8 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice and soft. The furnishings were basic - and we had no problem with that. Our only issue had to do with the water. The city water is terrible but we expected the owners would have a water softener or other type of treatment. It was difficult to shower as the water smelled and looked so bad - we smelled bad even after we showered! We have rented other properties in Surfside and all have treated the water so this was a surprise for us and we would not stay at this place again.

We appreciate the noting the accuracy of the listing and comfortable bedding! It's too bad you didn't mention the location right on the beach with views of miles of sand and surf which is why most guests choose this spot. We do hope you had an opportunity to enjoy! As for the Village of Surfside's water, yes, it is not known to be great, and we do share that upfront. It is also can be better or worse at times based on the level of use, eg tends to be worst when the busiest seasonally. That said, we have passed your feedback along to owner of this property.
