Quiet Peacefulness and Beauty

The view from the cottage, sitting by the water and watching the sunrise and sunset was beautiful. The wonderful relaxing in the sun by the pool was perfect. Shopping and dining on Main Street as we came in. Going to YROC for delish food and drinks with water views. You must stop at the Ware Neck Postoffice for a shopping experience of a bygone era.
The kitchen is minimal: there is a kuerig and they supply an assortment of kcups, sugar and creamer packets, salt and pepper. There is a tea kettle. There is a hot plate and a large counter top toaster/convection oven. *There is no microwave.
We had everything we needed for our simple meal prep and coffee (we brought our own kcups and creamers) needs. There is a very small fridge enough to hold 2 bottles of wine, some sodas, our cold creamers, and a meat/veggie drawer. It does have a small freezer area with an ice cube tray. All in all it was a sweet/quaint cottage perfect for all our uncomplicated needs to simply relax and breathe in the beauty by the water.

Comfy Cottage Stay
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was very enjoyable. The location is quiet and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the little cottage had all the amenities we could need. We also liked the access to the pool and the host’s restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful location
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage and location were amazing. We went for a couple of walks around the property and were a little disappointed that the lawn had not been mowed. Also the Keurig coffee maker needs to be replaced. The size of the cottage was perfect and it was very cozy.
We had a problem locking the front door and it took us a while to figure it out. Hopefully the owner updates the instructions so no one else has to deal with that issue.

Sweet Anniversary getaway

Everything about the cottage was charming and we both enjoyed ourselves immensely. The tranquil setting, tiny beach and wildlife just added to the experience. My husband took lots of lovely pictures while I enjoyed a book under the trees. We had amazing meals in the village of Gloucester Courthouse and antiquing in nearby Mathews. The Owner was prompt in answering questions and her suggestions for dining were spot on. We will most certainly be back 😊

Heaven on earth

It is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and just be.
The private beach, the majestic trees, the birds, the starry skies at night and the breathtaking views are just a part of what makes this place so special.

Ps: Stop by the Nuttall Country Store and treat yourself to some delicious homemade chicken salad and a brownie or three.
