Dear Michaela, We would like to thank you for your interest and your detailed review. First of all, all the necessary house information and characteristics are mentioned on our website so everybody can have an overall insight into the property. Thus, the hill location is one of the basic elements and advantages of this house as it offers you a wonderful landscape with a view and sunset. That's why we also recommend hiring a car as the best option for our guests' transportation. Moreover, the property has a traditional agriculture style as it is an old renovated Kefalonian family historic house that gives you a sense of the local folk way of living and the roots of this island. Regarding the house equipment, no spare linen is left for use by the guests, as we offer intermediate cleaning by the housekeeper, and we are sorry if something relevant came to your attention. We are sorry about the shower issue that never came to us as a problem during your stay, which of course we would have solved immediately upon notice from you if you had notified us the moment you found out. Regarding the cats that used to walk around the property, they are not ours but belong to the local village. The municipality didn't pay the needed attention thus they ended up giving birth to many kittens who all lived free in the surrounding fields and visited our house and other properties around the area seeking food and company. So, we have been trying our best to take care of them and we are sorry that we couldn't prevent any bad incident. We were devastated to find out about the little kitten as we had tried several times -unsuccessfully- to find some family for them or accommodate them in the local animal shelter, which until now is always full of more than 600 stray animals. The situation had been hard to manage so far, but after your notice, we acted immediately and contacted the local shelter once again explaining the hard situation and they managed to visit our property and collect all the cats, as well as from the surrounding properties of the area, and safely moved them all to their facilities for caring. Chickens are taken care of by the property keeper offering them safe living conditions, which we just confirmed. We are sorry if accidentally you saw something different than usual. Lastly, your booking and payment procedure is something that we have discussed again and conditions were straightforward on the booking platform. Thank you for your time and contact, Regards
