Worst experience ever! Host is incapable of running this type of business. She double booked us because “the calendars were not connected”…which I get - mistakes happen. HOWEVER, according to her it wasn’t the first time. Guess, it takes multiple mistakes for her to learn her lesson. She tried to make things right by finding another apartment for us. It wasn’t until we were on the way to the new apartment that she decided to inform us that it was her own apartment and asked multiple times if we were okay if she and her daughter stayed there as well. We were a party of 6 and she wanted two couples to sleep in two sofa couches in the living room. That’s not what we paid for. We didn’t pay for the host to be with us or the host to be coming in and out of the apartment. People expect to get exactly the services they paid for. We literally spent 4 hours trying to find common ground. At the end we were so angry that we just decided to get another place. On top of that, the description of the apartment was wrong. It stated that it was a four bedroom and one bathroom apartment. Turned out to be a 3 bedroom and two bathroom apartment. She’s the definition of incompetence. I ended up losing like $13 USD between the currency exchanges but I really don’t care at this point. It was worth our mental health by not staying at her place. BECAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS PLACE!!
