The hospitality was phenomenal!! My husband and I felt so at home with the innkeepers Lankford and Joyce. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! We will DEFINITELY visit again.

Charming historical restored home. Breakfast was excellent, room was spacious and nicely decorated and owners were friendly and attentive.

Magnolia Inn-worth a visit
Publié le 19 août 2019 sur HotelsWe had a chance to stay at the Magnolia Inn when they had a last minute cancellation. The owners were great! Very welcoming and helpful when asked about events and dinner spots within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast as part of our stay. One of the owners, Joyce, asked if we had any food preferences upon arrival to make sure she prepared items we'd enjoy. I'd definitely plan a return trip to the Magnolia Inn.

Great, charming place to stay with wonderful innkeepers who will made our stay very special. Breakfast each morning was freshly made , tasted wonderful and prepared based on our preferences and needs.

Cute house. Innkeepers are great and the house has charm. The bed was uncomfortable and very creaky.... Also, there is no on site parking lot/space. You are required to park in the neighborhood block, which is their "free parking". The location is not in a great neighborhood and we felt very uncomfortable leaving our cars parked there.

Your time for writing this review is appreciated and we are glad you noted some things about your stay that were positive. Your comfort is very important to us and it would have been a kind thing to notify us that your guestroom bed was not comfortable. If would have given us the opportunity to inspect and assure a perfect sleep experience for you and other guests.
There are multiple places to park at the Magnolia House. Our guests have off-street parking behind the building, street/curb parking on the front and side of the property, and there is a fenced parking lot beside the Inn. It is suggested that guests park on the street for check-in, as its the best place for bringing bags from the car. Obviously, this was not discussed and we apologize if your impression was street-only parking. The Inn is on a city street in a mixed-use area. There are residential neighbors and businesses all within walking distance of the Inn, as we are in Downtown Hampton, Va. and part of a viable/safe community. It is unfortunate we were not aware and given the opportunity to address your concerns, so that you could feel more 'at home'.
